Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki Introduce
Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki, situated at 9501 State Ave Unit E, Marysville, WA 98270, USA, offers a blend of Japanese fast food options to the local community. The restaurant can be contacted at (360) 653-3631 or via mobile at +1 360-653-3631. In the context of a 'Doctor Near Me' platform, which aims to connect individuals with essential local services and goods, Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki serves a fundamental purpose: providing quick, accessible, and often comforting meals. Just as a doctor addresses immediate health concerns, this establishment caters to the immediate need for sustenance and convenience, offering a form of "culinary relief" in a fast-paced world. It's a place where one can quickly obtain a prepared meal, contributing to daily well-being and freeing up time, much like a medical service streamlines health care.
Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki positions itself as a fast-food establishment specializing in Japanese cuisine, primarily teriyaki and sushi. This combination caters to a broad palate, offering popular and accessible options for a quick lunch or dinner. The "fast food" categorization suggests an emphasis on efficiency and convenience, aiming to provide flavorful meals without lengthy waits, which is a key attraction for many consumers today.
The environment at Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki elicits varied customer experiences, pointing to an establishment that is primarily functional for fast food but where the human element significantly impacts perception. One review mentioned arriving to see "a few customers were filing out and the two staff members were waiving goodbye and thanking them," suggesting a generally positive and customer-focused atmosphere. This interaction indicates an effort to create a welcoming and appreciative environment for departing patrons.
However, another review presented a contrasting view of the ambiance, specifically mentioning the "vibe of the owner very short, just not welcoming." This highlights that while the operational aspects might be efficient, the warmth of the reception can vary, impacting the overall impression. For some customers, a friendly and inviting demeanor is paramount, and a perceived lack of it can significantly detract from the dining experience, regardless of food quality. The environment, therefore, appears to be clean and efficient, suitable for a fast-food setting, but the interpersonal interactions can define the customer's comfort level.
The presence of staff "taking turns caring for an adorable and happy baby (keeping it sanitary and safe of course)" offers a unique insight into the informal, possibly family-run nature of the business. While this detail might not appeal to all, for many, it can foster a sense of authenticity and a more personal connection to the establishment, adding to a perceived "home-like" or community-oriented atmosphere.
The location on State Ave Unit E in Marysville suggests a strip mall or commercial center setting, common for fast-food establishments. Such locations are typically chosen for their accessibility and convenience, making it easy for customers to drop by for a quick meal. The "no sloppy slap-togethers" comment, despite the lack of photos, hints at a visual cleanliness and care in food preparation, even in a fast-food context.
Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki provides a range of Japanese fast-food options, primarily focusing on teriyaki dishes and sushi. Customer reviews highlight the availability of "meals" and the ability to order "food to go," emphasizing their quick-service model. The restaurant is noted for offering teriyaki, and importantly, it was open on a Sunday, providing a convenient option for those looking for Japanese cuisine on a day when other establishments might be closed.
A specific service request mentioned by a customer was asking for "salad in exchange for my rice." While this request was accommodated, the customer's dissatisfaction with the portion size of the salad (the same amount as their daughter-in-law's, presumably as a side portion) suggests that while they offer some flexibility, the execution of such exchanges might not always meet customer expectations for generosity. This indicates that while they strive to be accommodating, there might be limitations or standard portioning that customers should be aware of.
The efficiency of service is highlighted by a customer who noted their food "arrived faster than expected." This speed is a crucial aspect of any fast-food operation, appealing to customers seeking quick turnaround times for their meals. The ability of "two staff members" to keep the restaurant running smoothly while managing multiple tasks, including customer interactions and food preparation, speaks to their operational efficiency.
The availability of phone numbers ((360) 653-3631 and +1 360-653-3631) indicates that customers can call ahead for orders, further streamlining the takeout process and enhancing convenience.
The culinary features of Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki are presented with contrasting opinions. One highly positive review emphasized that the food was "flavorful and tasted like they claimed: made with extra love." This suggests that, at its best, the restaurant delivers on its promise of delicious and carefully prepared food. The sentiment that "every item we order is fantastic" and that the food "looked as delightful as it tasted (no sloppy slap-togethers)" speaks to both the taste and presentation, even within a fast-food framework.
This positive review highlights the rarity of an entire family enjoying food from the same restaurant and applauds Osaka for "unlocked this achievement." This indicates a broad appeal across different family members' palates, which is a significant strength for a family-oriented fast-food establishment. The claim of "made with extra love" also suggests a dedication to quality and passion behind the cooking.
However, another review offered a critical assessment of the food quality, stating, "The food wasn’t anything great." This contrasting opinion, particularly regarding the portioning of the salad exchange, suggests that the consistency of food quality or portion sizes might vary, or that individual preferences greatly influence perception. The "not Wow" reaction to the plate further indicates a desire for more impactful or generous presentations, especially when making substitutions.
Despite the differing opinions on the food itself, the efficiency of preparation and speed of service are consistent features. The "faster than expected" delivery of takeout orders is a definite highlight for customers prioritizing convenience.
The general sense of a well-run operation, with staff managing multiple roles effectively, points to a functional and capable team. The ability to handle customer flow and food preparation simultaneously, even while managing a child, speaks to their dedication and resourcefulness.
While Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki does not present explicit promotional offers in the provided information, the customer reviews themselves serve as the primary form of promotion, offering a mixed but insightful view. The highly positive review, which enthusiastically states "we *will* be returning!" and applauds the restaurant for satisfying an entire family, acts as a powerful organic endorsement. This kind of genuine customer satisfaction is invaluable for attracting new patrons through word-of-mouth and online reputation. For a 'Doctor Near Me' platform, such detailed and positive testimonials are crucial for users seeking reliable and highly-rated local services.
Conversely, the critical review, while negative in sentiment, also serves as a form of transparency, providing an objective view that allows potential customers to form their own expectations. The reviewer's strong stance ("I will not go back") highlights the importance of customer service and portioning for some diners. This feedback, while not promotional in the traditional sense, provides context and helps manage expectations, which is also a valuable aspect of objective introduction.
The phrase "made with extra love" could be considered an informal promotional tagline, suggesting a commitment to care and quality beyond standard fast-food fare. This human element can resonate with customers seeking a more personal touch even in a quick-service setting.
The overall value proposition at Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki appears to be subjective. For the family that found "every item... fantastic" and appreciated the speed and flavor, the value was clearly high. For the customer dissatisfied with the service vibe and portioning, the value was perceived as low. This variance suggests that the experience at Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki can depend on individual expectations and interactions. However, for those seeking convenient, quick, and flavorful Japanese fast food that can satisfy diverse family tastes, it has proven to be a valuable local option. Much like a 'Doctor Near Me' service provides essential and accessible care, Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki offers a convenient and often satisfying solution for daily meal needs within the Marysville community.

Marysville Osaka Sushi & Teriyaki Reviews
I eat in a lot of different restaurants, I was looking forward to find teriyaki open on a Sunday, my experience with the vibe of the owner very short, just not welcoming, ordered our meals. I asked if I could have salad in exchange for my rice, long story short, the plate was not Wow. My daughter-in-law’s salad was the same amount as mine. It wasn’t the best experience, if I could take Past teriyaki places I’ve eaten yet that I went. Wow, it’s more important to wow your clients with a couple more leaves of extra lettuceIn exchange for the rice , The owner shouldtake time to appreciate the community coming to your restaurant to eat.I earned my money and I choose where I wanna eat. I pick this place today and I will not go back. The food wasn’t anything great and the service I believe was a one star.
Apr 14, 2025 · Jeannette brayWe ordered food to go and when we arrived, a few customers were filing out and the two staff members were waiving goodbye and thanking them. This duo kept the restaurant running smoothly and all their customers happy while also taking turns caring for an adorable and happy baby (keeping it sanitary and safe of course). I was impressed not only by the staff but also by the food. It was flavorful and tasted like they claimed: made with extra love and arrived faster than expected. Everyone knows take out food is tastier after you've just spent two hours and all your money grocery shopping, but this was extra tasty, and we *will* be returning! It's rare that my entire family actually likes food from the same restaurant, and that every item we order is fantastic, but Osaka has unlocked this achievement and we applaud you.Sorry no photos, it was late and I was tired, but just know that the food looked as delightful as it tasted (no sloppy slap-togethers).
Dec 31, 2024 · Chelsea FaceyCame here for the first time and had the chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki & salmon nigiri. The service was good and friendly. The salmon was fresh and the katsu was nicely breaded. The teriyaki was a bit different than we were used to, but had a decent flavor. The only complaint I would have, is that they are quite overpriced for the portions that they give you, especially the salmon nigiri - coming from Vancouver, BC, we pay a fraction of what they charge for their sushi, teriyaki & katsu.
Jul 16, 2024 · MoriI went to this place on Father's day to grab some take out for my family. The staff was clearly busy with fulfilling online orders, so there was a little bit of a wait to or and to get the order done as well. The portion size of the chicken teriyaki was comparable to many places in the area that I've been. The California roll and crunchy shrimp roll were good as well. The fried gyoza and egg rolls were alright, but I have certainly had better in other places. All in all, this is a good place, though the price was about $1-2 more than comparable places in the area. My family was overall satisfied with the food that we good.
Jun 20, 2022 · Dave GrimmI don’t recommend this place. The food was average and overpriced and you are charged credit card fees and gratuity without your knowledge. That’s unfortunate because I had high hope for this place. We got the beef teriyaki which comes with a salad and rice. This meal was ok, similar to your average teriyaki place. We also got a sushi roll. The roll felt too salty and the slices were too wide to easily fit in your mouth, besides that it was fine. The portions aren’t that large, especially for the price, and we were still hungry.Service felt a bit rude.
