For busy individuals and offices in the bustling Midtown area, Aquamarine positions itself as a readily available source for a quick lunch or a group order.
The restaurant's approach seems to be one of versatility, catering to a wide range of tastes within the Asian culinary spectrum. While the emphasis is on popular Japanese items like sushi and sashimi, the inclusion of dishes from other Asian cuisines suggests a desire to provide a comprehensive and accessible menu. For New Yorkers looking for a convenient, multi-faceted Asian dining experience, particularly for takeout or delivery, Aquamarine offers a streamlined solution in a high-demand area.

For those coming from outside the immediate vicinity, its proximity to Grand Central Terminal further enhances its accessibility. Office Catering/Platters: With its emphasis on sushi and its location in a business district, Aquamarine is a viable option for office catering, offering platters of sushi and rolls for corporate lunches or meetings. However, previous customer feedback suggests that customers planning office orders might need to explicitly communicate their separation preferences if individual orders are required, as some experiences have indicated a default to communal platters.
Varied Menu Offerings: Beyond sushi, the restaurant includes a range of Japanese, Thai, and Chinese dishes, such as General Tso's chicken, Pad Thai, and various ramen options, providing a diverse selection for different tastes.
Broad Pan-Asian Menu: Aquamarine offers a comprehensive menu that extends beyond traditional Japanese sushi, incorporating popular Thai and Chinese dishes. This variety allows customers to choose from a wide range of Asian flavors, from sushi and sashimi to noodles, rice dishes, and stir-fries.
Sushi-Heavy Menu: Despite its Pan-Asian influences, the restaurant emphasizes sushi, providing various rolls, cutups, sushi, and sashimi platters. This focus caters to the demand for Japanese favorites in the New York market.

New Yorkers should check these apps directly for any active offers from Aquamarine.
Restaurant.com Deals: Aquamarine has been listed on Restaurant.com, which sometimes offers discount certificates (e.g., $25 for $10) for future dining. Patrons should check this platform for potential savings, understanding that terms and conditions often apply.
Lunch Specials: Many Midtown restaurants offer dedicated lunch specials during weekday hours. While not explicitly detailed, it's possible Aquamarine provides combo meals or set menus at a reduced price for the lunchtime rush.

Aquamarine Reviews
I ordered from this place, and let me tell you it was the worst mistake I ever made in my life I always adored Japanes food and I’ve never had any issues whatsoever with it but this time it ruined all my trust in to getting near any sushi again I got violently sick which I ended up in hospital as result .I suffered very badly i give you guys a hard warning stay away from this place. Otherwise prepare yourself to get sick and wack your stomach up ! Nasty food by all means!
January 30 · Lillian ArmandNever order from this restaurant - We made an order for our office for sushi and instead of separating the orders they put them on platters for everyone to figure out what they ordered. When we called back to have the restaurant fix the order, they refused and sent us to grubhub to complain. We recommend if you are ordering from an office for sushi to go somewhere else, not worth the trouble!
November 07 · Dagan MD NYCWhile it's not a place that looks like it'd cater to the lunch crowd, they have a lot of lunch specials, which was nice. $10.95 gets you three sushi rolls, a salad and miso soup. The salad was average, the miso the same, though the portion was pretty large. And the sushi was pretty good. The quality was about what you'd expect, but the amount of fish per roll was generous. The rice tasted tender, and the rolls were well-made.I probably won't be eating here a lot, due to it not being that close to my office, but if it's near yours and you're looking for a sushi place to order out from once a week (or however often you get your sushi craving) try it on for size.
August 30 · Adam RubensWorst rolls in the city. I ordered a roll combo (15 pieces) plain flavor, overpriced and disappointing presentation for 21 bucks. There are plenty of good Japanese restaurant that for the same price you can get a high quality dinner. I was misled by Grubhub rating
November 09 · Jaime Maihuire IrigoyenOrdered a set of sashimi and 3 rolls set (spicy tuna, salmon/avocado and eel/avocado). The pieces of sashimi were just left over cuts, twice as small as any other sushi place. The salmon/avocado roll came without salmon. Ridiculous prices too, $90 for all of that
