Asahi Reviews
Food was decent, service wasn't great. Taste and flavor profile was pretty authentic for the food i tried compared to the ones in Japan. Tempura Ice Cream was tasty, but pocky sticks felt unnecessary.
May 29, 2025 · Wyatt ReillyAuthentic Japanese restaurant, Delicious sushi, wonderful staff, located in a cute area in courthouse. The restaurant was just off the busy street with street parking available. We made a reservation but there was plenty of seating when we got there. The food stole the show, we enjoyed some gyoza and spicy tuna sticks for an appetizer, followed by Sushi platter A with some extra tuna nigiri. The spicy yellowtail roll and Philadelphia roll accompanied the sashimi which were all delicious. I couldn't help myself but order an additional majesty roll which was gone before I could even get a picture of it! We finished the evening with green tea and strawberry mochi which were well done and also really good.Overall the food was terrific and will definitely be getting sushi here again! It seems they do a ton of takeout as there was always several people picking up food. Definitely do yourself a favor and stop in for some really good and authentic sushi and sashimi!
