Located at 209 2nd Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104, this establishment specializes in classic teriyaki dishes, a staple of casual Japanese dining. When considering the platform category "Doctor Near Me," a unique and insightful interpretation can be applied to Asia Ginger Teriyaki Restaurant. Just as a doctor provides a direct and effective remedy for a specific ailment, Asia Ginger Teriyaki offers a straightforward "prescription" for your daily hunger, particularly when you're seeking a consistently good, quick, and comforting meal. It acts as a culinary "specialist" for those moments when you need a solid, reliable, and unpretentious meal to "get thru tha day," much like a dependable general practitioner who provides consistent care for everyday needs. It's not a fancy treatment, but a dependable, effective solution for your culinary well-being.
The **environment** at Asia Ginger Teriyaki Restaurant is characterized by its practicality and comfort, offering a "quiet place to eat and lots of seating space." This suggests a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere, which can be a welcome respite in a busy urban setting. Unlike some fast-casual eateries that prioritize quick turnover above all else, Asia Ginger seems to provide ample room for diners to comfortably enjoy their meal. The decor is likely straightforward and functional, focusing on cleanliness and efficiency, consistent with a restaurant that serves quick, comforting meals. While specific aesthetic details are not provided, the emphasis on a quiet and spacious environment implies a focus on customer comfort during their dining experience. This kind of setting is ideal for individuals or small groups looking for a peaceful break during their day to enjoy a solid meal. The unpretentious nature of the environment contributes to its appeal as a reliable, everyday dining spot, a place where you can simply focus on your food without distractions.
The **services** at Asia Ginger Teriyaki Restaurant are highly efficient and customer-oriented, primarily focused on delivering meals quickly. Reviewers consistently praise that "Food came out quick and the staff was kind." This highlights a streamlined operation where orders are processed and prepared with speed, which is crucial for a restaurant catering to a lunch crowd or those on a tight schedule. The kindness of the staff ensures a pleasant interaction, contributing to a positive overall experience. A notable aspect of their service is the expectation for customers to "add sauce!" for certain dishes, such as the "salmon teriyaki doesnt come with sauce on it." This implies a semi-self-service element where condiments are readily available for diners to customize their meal to their liking, providing a degree of control over the flavor profile. This approach might be designed to ensure freshness of ingredients or cater to individual sauce preferences. The restaurant's phone number, (206) 264-0500 or +1 206-264-0500, also indicates that they are accessible for inquiries or potentially takeout orders, further enhancing their service convenience. The combination of quick food delivery, kind staff, and a degree of customization in sauce application defines the efficient and straightforward service model at Asia Ginger Teriyaki.
The defining **features** of Asia Ginger Teriyaki Restaurant revolve around its classic Japanese comfort food, particularly its teriyaki dishes. The "Teriyaki Chicken, Rice, and Cabbage" is highlighted as "always a solid meal to get thru tha day," underscoring its reliability and satisfying nature. This combination is a beloved staple of Japanese fast-casual dining, known for its balanced flavors and fulfilling portions. While the "salmon teriyaki doesnt come with sauce on it," the availability of "many sauce bottles" for self-application is a practical feature, allowing diners to control the richness and sweetness of their dish according to their preference. This customization is a subtle but important aspect of the dining experience. Although not explicitly detailed, the inherent nature of teriyaki in Seattle often suggests generous portions, ensuring a filling meal. The restaurant's appeal lies in its consistent delivery of these familiar and comforting flavors, making it a dependable choice for a satisfying and easy lunch. The focus on these tried-and-true dishes, prepared efficiently, makes Asia Ginger Teriyaki a go-to spot for dependable and enjoyable Japanese meals.
In terms of **promotional information** and what local users should know, Asia Ginger Teriyaki Restaurant is presented as a reliable and convenient option for satisfying Japanese meals in Seattle. Food came out quick and the staff was kind. Quiet place to eat and lots of seating space. Make sure to add sauce! The salmon teriyaki doesnt come with sauce on it so make sure you make use of the many sauce bottles before you leave.
Nov 10, 2023 · CharisseI'm going to have to give this place a 4 and not 5 for tha simple fact that they close way too early. 2p is way too early to close. It doesn't serve tha neighborhood well when restaurants operate like this, but that's just me. Nevertheless, I love coming here. Teriyaki Chicken, Rice, and Cabbage is always a solid meal to get thru tha day. Again, I just wish they were open for dinner 🍽
Jun 21, 2023 · Michael TaylorThe best teriyaki in Seattle! They have this Carmel coloured sauce to pour over the rice and meat, it’s divine. Try it out, you won’t regret it.
Jan 13, 2025 · Emily LippoldFood was alright, I expected a slightly bigger portion for $10, but it's Seattle... Chicken tasted a little dry but still good. Good service, food was made pretty quick. They also have the special teriyaki salad dressing on the tables for those that like to add extra.
Apr 07, 2017 · James KondratyevI ordered the prawn teriyaki w/ fried rice… Unfortunately the meal was underwhelming. The prawns were dry and lacked flavor, and the fried rice tasted like regular white rice w/ soy sauce, not fried rice at all. Disappointing.
