Came here with my kids as they wanted to have some sushi after going out. The place is kinda hidden behind the shopping center, better to park around the back. As for service it was a 50/50, kept having to flag down people for service and even then twice they forgot to bring stuff requested. Prices are a bit higher than the other AYCE place I've been to for similar selections they offer. Sushi was overall pretty fresh, flavorful and had good texture to it. Overall I probably wouldn't wouldn't make it a first choice to come back, and would like to give other places a try.

I personally do not recommend this restaurant, AT ALL! particularly if you value good service. While the food itself was okay, the service was among the worst I’ve experienced!! The sushi saved the star for this place.Upon arrival, we were initially greeted politely, but once seated, the service declined significantly. Despite arriving before another couple, we were seated at the same time—no issue there because we didn’t waited for that long either. However, while the other tables were promptly given chopsticks, wasabi, and ginger, we were not…Our server, a woman with short hair and glasses, showed little interest in assisting us. She handed us menus without any explanation and simply stood there, clearly impatient. When we asked about menu differences and pricing, she responded and just left. What stood out most was the stark contrast in her attitude and service between serving us and interacting with non-Asian or foreign customers—she was notably warmer and more attentive to them.In addition to the poor attitude, there were multiple service errors. We waited through our second round of dishes and had to remind the staff about a missing order of fried oysters from our first round. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the server brought out the wrong dish (vegetable tempura instead of shrimp tempura) and appeared visibly frustrated when we pointed out the mistake. Rather than offering an apology, she acted as if we were at fault when clearly the paper did not had vegetable tempura marked…There were also some issues with the food itself. One of the salmon sushi had a fish bone, and the ikura sushi tasted off—its texture was tougher than expected, which is a little suspicious for me.Having visited the Santa Ana location before, where the staff was attentive and courteous, this experience was disappointing. The difference in treatment at this location was disheartening and made the entire visit very uncomfortable.In summary, while the food was acceptable, the service was severely lacking, particularly toward Asian customers.

HIDES SIGNS SO THEY CAN CHARGE AND SCAM YOU.We came in with 4 adults and 1 two month old baby. After our meal, we saw that we got charged 18% gratuity. The menu states they charge for parties of 5 or more. They charged for my baby who can't even eat. She slept the whole time and didn't cry.This sign was HIDDEN under the Oyster sign. Make sure you FLIP THROUGH THEIR PAPERS FOR HIDDEN FEES AND SCAMS. If owner doesn't believe me, check your cameras for 5/21 around 9:05 PM. My brother flipped through the papers and saw your cheating policy. He moved the paper to show the sign. The waitress (Rea?) was arguing but did eventually take the gratuity off.It's one thing if we saw it and didn't realize, but to HIDE THE SIGN AND POINT TO MY TWO MONTH OLD BABY?IT IS ILLEGAL - what the server didn't know is that there were two lawyers sitting at the table. Check CA Hidden Fees Law!!!!!!! "Clearly and Conspicuously". It was hidden under a paper.

Still the best AYCE in town. We have been going to this restaurant for over 8 years. We used to go to their other branch in Azusa. Haven’t visited that branch in a while. As usual service is fast. Their sushi sashimi melts in your mouth. The sushi has small rice potions and huge on the fish. It does get full in late afternoon till the evening so if you want to try them out it’s best to come in early afternoon.

The fish was great, but the size of sushi was small. I had never seen such a small sushi before. I loved their tea with roasted rice, though. The service was a bit slow even though we were there on a weekday. The place is popular and family friendly. The presentation was nice. I'd say go check them out.
