What is worth choosing
Deciding what to order at BaGu Sushi & Thai can be a delightful challenge given the extensive menu. For sushi lovers, the variety is exceptional. You can start with a classic like the California 6 Pieces Sushi Roll for $10.00 or try something with a bit of a kick, like the Spicy Tuna 5 Pieces Sushi Rolls for the same price. One customer highlighted the complementary nature of their choices, stating they loved how the spicy tuna roll and the French Kiss roll worked together, with the latter being less spicy. For those looking to splurge, the Bagu Platter at $50.00 or the Sashimi Platter at $48.00 are excellent choices. As one reviewer mentioned, the Bagu platter was "more than enough food for the two of us" and the raw fish was "melt in your mouth yummy." The A La Carte (Nigiri) options like Hamachi and Sake are also perfect for a more curated selection.
On the Thai side of the menu, the options are just as impressive. A customer praised the Drunken Noodles with pork, noting that the "fresh basil in it gave it a great pop of flavor." The menu also features classic Thai curries like Green Curry and Red Curry, as well as a variety of salads and appetizers. The Hot Appetizers are a great way to start your meal, with options like Cream Cheese Puff and Egg Rolls that are praised for being "crispy and delicious." For those who enjoy a bit of heat, the Angry Salmon cold appetizer is a standout choice. BaGu Sushi & Thai Reviews
Definitely will be going back! We got the Drunken noodles with the regular noodles not the wide, with pork. Which was amazing, the fresh basil in it gave it a great pop of flavor! I will definitely be getting that again next time. We also got 2 sushi rolls the spicy tuna roll and a French kiss roll. Both were very good, they complimented each other. Since the tuna sushi roll had a good amount of heat and the French kiss roll did not have as much heat. (:
August 20 · Abby BruckelmyerMy husband and I come here almost every year in August to SPLURGE! All the dishes we’ve had are superb. We have never left unsatisfied. Our most recent visit was just a couple days ago. We had the Bagu platter, eel nigiri, scallop nigiri, chutoro sashimi, pork egg rolls. I must be getting old because the Bagu platter was more than enough food for the two of us. All of the raw fish was melt in your mouth yummy. The egg rolls were crispy and delicious. We also got outdoor seating in the patio, nice atmosphere. P.S. GET THE FRESH WASABI!! Sweet and light.
August 17 · Kia LeeWe came here on a Friday night without reservations and planned to come early around 530 and they were actually busy. The staff were so friendly and let us know that they had reservations and there would be time to come back around 7. So she recommended some bars nearby. We quickly were called back and got seated. It had a small dining room but service is quick. We got edamame, also style papaya salad (5 spice level, the highest), a sushi roll (I think dynamite, I forgot), and a red curry with chicken that came with rice. It was all really good and more than enough for 2 people. We had enough to take home. They had a wide selection. There’s a parking lot next to the building and some street parking.
January 14 · Liann Amagangreat food all around, great meal to have after arriving home from japan. only complaint service-wise is the lack of a liquor license.. i assume it is temporary.. but it did not ruin our meal by any means!
April 22 · Marin RederI rounded down but this was more of a 3.5. Nothing was bad, sushi was pretty good but the Thai dishes were disappointing (they lacked flavor). Everything was well cooked (fish was flaky etc) but it just didn't pack much flavor in it for Thai food. The chicken karage was delicious and definitely worth the try, I'd recommend skipping the hamachi collar. Overall some dishes were great and others were meh.
