Benihana Introduce
For those in Broomfield, Colorado, seeking a dynamic and interactive Japanese dining experience, Benihana stands as a prominent destination. Located at 515 Zang St, Broomfield, CO 80021, USA, Benihana is renowned for its unique hibachi-style cooking, where skilled chefs prepare meals directly at the diner's table, providing both entertainment and delicious food. When considering platforms such as "Doctor Near Me," while its primary function is not medical, Benihana contributes to the local community's well-being by offering a specialized service: a memorable culinary escape. It provides a unique form of "care" through an engaging social experience centered around fresh, cooked-to-order Japanese cuisine, serving as a distinctive local amenity.
The accessibility of Benihana at its Zang Street address makes it a convenient choice for residents of Broomfield and the surrounding areas. Its established presence in the dining scene ensures it's a recognizable and often favored spot for various occasions. The restaurant's phone numbers, (303) 410-0482 and +1 303-410-0482, facilitate easy communication for reservations, which are often recommended, especially during peak hours or for larger groups. This ease of contact supports a smoother planning process for diners looking to experience the Benihana concept.
The environment at Benihana is central to its appeal. The design typically features communal hibachi tables where diners sit around a large grill, observing their chef in action. This setup inherently fosters a social atmosphere, making it a popular choice for families, friends, and celebrations. The ambiance is lively and engaging, with the sizzling sounds of the grill and the aromas of freshly cooked food filling the air. While the core experience revolves around the chef's performance, the overall setting is designed to be comfortable and conducive to a shared meal. It’s an environment that encourages interaction and enjoyment, setting it apart from traditional restaurant dining.
Benihana's unique service model is defined by its highly skilled teppanyaki chefs. These culinary artists not only cook the food with precision but also perform entertaining tricks, such as flipping shrimp tails into their hats, juggling utensils, and creating onion volcanoes. This interactive element is a signature feature and a significant draw, especially for first-time visitors or those celebrating special occasions. However, as one customer review noted, the extent of these "cool tricks" can vary depending on the chef and the dining context. For instance, during a quick lunch or when diners are deeply engrossed in conversation, chefs might tone down the theatrical elements to respect the guests' preferences. This adaptability, even if unintended, can sometimes lead to varied expectations regarding the performance aspect.
The food at Benihana is consistently praised for its quality and flavor. As one review states, "The food, as always, was delicious, which is what keeps bringing us back." The menu typically features a range of proteins, including steak (like filet mignon, which was mentioned), chicken, and various seafood options like shrimp, scallops, and lobster. These are usually served with traditional Japanese accompaniments such as clear onion soup, salad with ginger dressing, hibachi vegetables, and steamed rice. The fresh preparation on the grill ensures that the food is served hot and retains its distinct flavors. While the focus is on hibachi, many Benihana locations also offer sushi and sashimi, providing a broader Japanese culinary experience. The consistency of the food quality is a major factor in the restaurant's enduring popularity.
However, an objective introduction must also address any significant customer feedback, including challenges. A recent Mother’s Day weekend review highlighted considerable service inconsistencies. Issues included forgotten appetizers (gyoza arriving too late), forgotten main courses (filet mignon requiring multiple reminders), and repeated problems with drink orders. This "chaotic and disorganized" service significantly impacted the dining experience, even overshadowing the consistently delicious food. This specific instance underscores that while the food and concept are strong, operational execution can sometimes falter, particularly during busy periods.
Crucially, the review also highlights the proactive role of management in rectifying such issues. The manager, "Bob," was singled out for being "professional, attentive, and did everything he could to make things right." This demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction even when service falters. The manager's intervention in handling the situation proactively, even in the face of significant shortcomings, is a positive indicator of the restaurant's dedication to resolving problems and ensuring a positive outcome for guests. This aspect of problem-solving contributes to the overall service narrative, even when initial service falls short.
Regarding promotional information, Benihana often positions itself as a destination for celebrations and group dining due to its interactive nature. While specific promotional offers beyond special occasion menus are not detailed in the provided information, the unique hibachi experience itself serves as a primary draw. The restaurant's long-standing reputation as a fun and engaging place to eat is its most effective form of promotion, attracting both repeat customers and new diners looking for a memorable meal. The ability to cook various items to individual preferences at the table, along with the entertaining chefs, creates a value proposition that extends beyond just the food. For those seeking an experience rather than just a meal, Benihana’s consistent food quality and interactive elements remain its strongest selling points.
In the context of "Doctor Near Me," Benihana offers a specialized and accessible form of local service that caters to social and celebratory needs. It provides a unique setting for gathering and enjoying expertly prepared Japanese cuisine in a way that is both nourishing and entertaining. While occasional service glitches can occur, as evidenced by a recent review, the underlying quality of the food and the proactive approach of management to address issues reinforce Benihana's position as a significant and valued culinary establishment in Broomfield, Colorado.

Benihana Reviews
We went for lunch. No celebration just a quick in and out. We were happy we were seated immediately. Ordered our food and we’re out in less than an hour. Great chef and even better food! Since it was only us two heavily into our conversations for lunch. The chef didn’t do any cool tricks, which I wasn’t really bummed but would’ve been nice to see. Oh well.
May 19, 2025 · Pink Dragun (Pink_Dragun)I’ve always loved Benihana and was really hoping to give a 5-star review, but unfortunately, the service during our recent visit fell far short—especially on Mother’s Day weekend. The food, as always, was delicious, which is what keeps bringing us back. However, the experience was frustrating. They completely forgot my wife’s gyoza appetizer, and when it finally came out, it was at the end of the meal—far too late to enjoy it properly. On top of that, her filet mignon was also forgotten, and we had to remind them several times before it finally arrived. We also experienced multiple issues with our drinks—not being served at all or being forgotten repeatedly. It felt chaotic and disorganized, and it really took away from what should have been a special dinner. What saved the evening was Bob, the manager. He was professional, attentive, and did everything he could to make things right. I truly appreciate how he stepped in and handled the situation. But even with that effort, it’s disappointing that such poor service happened in the first place, especially on a night that meant so much to our family.I wish I could rate this higher because I genuinely love this place, but this experience was just unacceptable.
May 10, 2025 · Thomas williamsOur family came to Benihana’s to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation today, and it was such a treat! Our server Felicity was incredibly friendly and attentive, and our chef Michael was entertaining and funny, cooking up our delicious meal and having fun with it! They made our celebration feel even more special. We really had a great time and hope to come back again soon! 💜
May 11, 2025 · Paula ArmijoThis was my first time at a Benihana, a group of pass co-workers were getting together to celebrate a birthday. Jessica was our server and her service was amazing! She was patient, able to answer all our questions, on top of our every need, our glasses were never empty! Our chief was entertaining and the food wonderful! I would highly recommend anyone who's never been here to give it a try. Honestly I would have never chosen this place because I'm not a sushi fan and when I think Japanese food that's what comes to mind, luckily I didn't get to pick the place because I would have missed this wonderful experience.
Feb 28, 2025 · Kelly Engelkens KeaneI recently dined at Benihana in Broomfield, and it was a good experience, especially for a fun night out. Located in the Main Street complex across from Flatiron Crossing Mall. We enjoyed its large aquariums in the entrance. The hibachi dining is the star here—the chefs put on an entertaining show, cooking right at the table with flair, which made it perfect for a special occasion. The food was generally tasty, with highlights like the steak and sushi. I enjoyed the bright, airy dining room. However, the service was a bit slow during my visit, and some dishes felt pricey for the portion sizes. The atmosphere is lively and family-friendly. The staff was friendly.
