Benihana Reviews
We had a reservation and still didn't get sat until an hour and 15 minutes later. Then, after sitting, we still didn't get a chef to the table for another hour. Sam was the waitress, she was good but she forgot to ask if we wanted or needed refills or new drinks 🍸. The chef 👨🍳 didn't make enough of rice. My son didn't get any, and another guy at the table didn't get any either he had had to share with his date. We also asked for corn for the vegetable option for the kid meals, and they didn't bring that at all. Overall, we chose to go their for the kids to see the chef in action, and that was the only thing that was cool other than him not bringing enough food or all the right food. Also, he messed up the chow mein noodles 🍜 and had to go get more noodles . Oh, and my steak fried rice. I asked for well-done steak, and my steak was still bloody. I told him that while he was handing it to me, he said, "Mix it in the rice it will cook more." Then, he decided to use a torch lighter to finish cooking the steak.
Feb 15, 2025 · Toya TravisWent here on 5/29 for my birthday and I would 100% go back again. Our server Clarissa was super tentative to all our needs and she was so kind. Whatever we needed she was right on it and I addressed the fact I did not get the $30 off bday certificate because I signed up too late but she addressed it with the manager Nicole and they were able to do it for all 3 of us birthday girls. Love how Nicole personally came to the table to ask us how dinner went shows she truly values your experience. Our chef Kelly was amazing as well! Food was amazing, dining experience great, and she was amazing with everyone including the little girls at our table. We just moved here from san diego and this is definitely the best benihana we’ve been to. Would 10/10 recommend family and friends to go here and I’m 100% coming back.
May 30, 2025 · Fiona MontonCame in on 2/2/25 for the lunch special. Ordered the lunch duo : shrimp and steak with chicken rice. The rice tasted like onions.. I got 6 shrimp and big pieces of steak cut up, that tasted like absolutely nothing. The zucchini and onions were bland.Absolutely disappointed in my entire meal. The shrimp still had poop lines in it, so it wasn’t even deveined.Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve had in a very long time.Everything needed extra soy sauce, which they don’t even give you soy. You have to ask the chef to share the soy he/she is cooking with.Clean environment. Other than that, I would NOT recommended.
Feb 02, 2025 · Ashley BurnsJames was an awesome chef, the manager was awesome, our waiter Jamie was so attentive. Never had to ask for a refill and was always entertained. The food was so good, I could’ve just ate a whole bowl of rice. We celebrated my husbands graduation and they were so thoughtful on surprising him with a little treat at the end 😋 10/10 will come back again
May 22, 2025 · Cassandra CruzIf you want to spend a lot of money on okay food and okay cooking performance then you found the right place. I don't mind spending money for quality food, unfortunately this place it's not worth the money. I ordered the benihaha trio $55 and wings as appetizer $17 paid like $90 with tip just me. The cook seemed nice and the waiter did too and I know their just following orders. However, It was a long wait till we got our drinks and even a longer wait to get our cook. All in all, late service, overpriced, and not impressive taste on the food. Don't bother celebrating anything here. With the money you spend here, you and the whole family could have a tomahawk steak for dinner each at home.
