BESHOCK Ramen East Village Reviews
I enjoyed my time here! The restaurant is pretty chill and laid back, but very clean and cute. I ordered the Ube Mai Tai. It was very different. The foam had a very sweet/vanilla taste and it paired well with the liquid part of the drink. Once the foam dissolved into the drink, it all blended well. I ordered the Chicken Paitan and requested a medium spice level be added. It was all very delicious. I didn't love that the chicken didn't have any seasoning. It didn't sit in the broth long enough to have any flavor. I could've done without it. The broth was super flavorful though. I would've enjoyed it better with no chicken. I also ordered the California Roll. It has real snow crab so I couldn't pass on it lol and I'm glad that I didn't because it was delicious. I'd come whenever I'm back in town
Feb 20, 2025 · Neta CTried their beef rib ramen and it was good. Interested to see what a more traditional ramen is like here. They have some great cocktails and a wide selection of Japanese whiskey. Made a return visit just for their drinks
May 01, 2025 · Nero TBest experience ever! The food is incredibly flavorful—I could easily try the entire menu if I could. The service was amazing, and the restaurant was spotless. The broth was especially delicious, full of depth and richness. Everything was exceptional, and I can't wait to come back next time I'm in the area. Definitely a must-try if you're in San Diego!
Dec 14, 2024 · Belem RamosThis cozy, little treasure is in the East Village of Downtown SD. Great food. Great service. Make sure Hamza is your waiter. The food was so good. OK, the spicy edomami is delicious, but it is very messy. I had hot sauce spread everywhere: fingers, face, floor, table, my clothes, the couple sitting next to me. It was a mess. I took Hamza's suggestion for my meal spicy chicken yakisoba. Tasty. The dessert was so good. I never knew I liked mango ice cream until I tried it there. Yum.There was no parking but it was worth the walk to it. Go! Even if your nervous about trying hipster Japanese food. You will walk out a fan.
Apr 29, 2025 · Elwood NickersonBest vegan ramen I have had. I’ve been coming here for years and it never gets boring coming to eat here! They also have sushi options and special tasty alcoholic drinks!
