Birdman Ramen Reviews
We stayed at a nearby hotel and this is a highly rated ramen place within walking distance.Loved the prompt and friendly service. We’re greeted with a Japanese “welcome” by the staff. The inside decor is super cute. Our waiter was friendly and prompt. He explained how the menu works and he gave us enough time to decide what we wanted to order.Appetizers: Edamame, Chicken Karaage, Fried Chicken Dumplings-highly recommended. The Karaage is super delicious and was served hot. The spicy sauce was also delicious.Ramen: we ordered a silver shoyu, silver spicy garlic, and silver tori paitan, noodles are cooked perfectly. The broth was a little bit too salty to our taste but it’s a rich broth. You could try to ask for lesser salty broth which I did request but it’s still over seasoned.Salmon Donburi: super fresh salmon sashimi, salmon roe and delicious-would highly recommend as well.Dessert: Tri-color dango was chewy and sweet. Osaka cheesecake was light but doesn’t taste like cheesecake to me, it’s more of a sweet moist yellow cake.
Apr 09, 2025 · Angela & Elliot ZhangExemplary service, very friendly and happy server. Food was good. Would come here again if convenient. Wouldn’t go far out of my way to come again though. Recommend getting the most popular server’s recommendation.
May 19, 2025 · Curtis YuI had the chicken skin dumplings and karaage chicken ramen. Both were excellent. I’ve never seen chicken skin dumplings, so it was interesting to try them. Basically it’s chicken skins wrapped around spiced ground chicken and vegetables and deep fried. My server Amiin was helpful explaining menu items, and pleasant to talk to.
Apr 21, 2025 · Sara ErringtonService was wonderful. Ramen was very good.I don't like that the dumplings were factory-made frozen food. We ordered shrimps dumplings, but it was such a heavily processed food that we couldn't tell if it was shrimp, chicken or meat-flavored starch. Also, the shape of the dumplings tells it all. Perhaps it's unreasonable to expect kitchen-made food at this price point, I'm not sure.
Dec 12, 2024 · Impressive StuffWalking into this place I did not have high hopes for good ramen…BUT I WAS WRONG. This place is fantastic - the decor was a bit meh and the lighting was way too bright, but the Ramen was so good! The “chicken” ice cream dessert was fun too.Yakisoba & Tri-Color dango were mid tho would skip.BYOB too, but there’s a convenience store across the street so it’s chill.
