Blue Ribbon Sushi Reviews
I recently visited Blue Ribbon Sushi in New York, and while I've had some amazing experiences at Japanese restaurants in the city, this one felt more like a fast-food spot. It’s a place where you can quickly grab a bite, as the service is incredibly fast and the some food probably is already pre-prepared. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel any special charm in the atmosphere, service, or flavors—everything felt rather average. The menu is quite extensive, and I was recommended to try the sushi and sashimi platter for $58. I also ordered a beer, bringing my total bill to $76.21 for one person. While it's convenient for a quick meal, I expected more in terms of taste and overall dining experience.
March 27 · AlinaWe came in with out a reservation and didn’t even have to wait very long to get a seat at the sushi bar is fabulous and beautifully presented and the service is excellent. Highly highly recommended.
May 18 · Julie ThumThis is a very nice, intimate and cozy sushi restaurant in Soho where you have to go downstairs in the basement. The sushi was very flavorful and well presented. The miso soup was so good that it will definitely help to get rid of any cold that you have. We will definitely be back to try more sushi!!!
March 22 · Adrian GowrieThe service, atmosphere, and food were AMAZING! Highly recommend going early in the day or making a reservation. Our server brought us wine samples, and the sushi is the best I’ve ever had. They were knowledgeable on my gluten intolerance as well and brought me gluten free soy sauce.
May 08 · Rachel BondWriting this review right at the restaurant after service. This sushi place is truly special. We had the bonsai tree and crispy rice for appetizer. The bonsai tree was sublime in all respects, looked gorgeous and was so delicate in taste. The crispy rice was just amazing. Next we shared the sushi deluxe and all of them were mind blowing as well - so buttery and tasty! We ended with matcha crème brûlée and gosh it was so so scrumptious. Highly recommend this place!
