Plates start at very reasonable prices (e.g., $1.29 to $2.99 per plate), allowing diners to control their spending based on how much they eat. This makes it an inherently affordable option, especially for those who are mindful of their budget while dining out in California. This can be particularly appealing for those looking to maximize their meal without spending a fortune.
One online source indicates that they offer a Happy Hour with "15% off excluding drinks & lunch combos from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM" on weekdays (Monday - Friday). Another mentions "20% off of everything but drinks & lunch combos from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM" during Happy Hour. Cocary Shabu Shabu BBQ Reviews
This place has been here for as long as I can remember and I can’t believe it was my first time here. A combination of hot pot and bbq. They have a fridge where you can gather the food that you want and then just head back to your table to cook it. They only have one broth option for the hotpot. The grill gets hot quick and the food cooks quickly. They have beef, lamb, chicken, pork, and salmon. A decent selection of vegetables were available as well.
May 05, 2025 · N C.Really enjoy this old school Taiwanese Japanese bbq place - love the great tasting bbq dishes and rice porridge! Hot pot is good as well, and even love the vintage Asia vibe!
Mar 14, 2025 · __Consistently good. Fresh meats and veggies you pick yourself and cook on your table. Usually no wait or short wait. Budget friendly, although prices have gone up a bit all around (every where). My wife and I frequent this place and have for years. So far so good
Jun 26, 2022 · Bobby Alvarado TheFoodjunkiesLV IGThis is my favorite place to get hot pot+bbq. I really enjoy just paying for what I eat and getting to chose.
Apr 06, 2025 · Jimmy SimmonsThe cold dish (appetizer) was bad. I mentioned to the waitress, and she confirmed it was bad. Then, nothing happened, no apology or come to check on us. No additional napkins or water. When I pay the bill without tipping. Wow! The front waitress demanded tips and explained the food was bad should be the kitchen problem, not her service! There was no service and food was bad. It’s our first time here and will be the last also. Not worth the money and terrible food & service.
