Crave Sushi Bar Reviews
Unimpressed. The fluke was good, but was drenched in so much Ponzo sauce that it turned it into the equivalent of ceviche before it was finished. The salad comes with a knife and fork and for good reason because it is almost impossible to eat; Presentation visually unappealing as well. Lots and lots of good sushi in New York. I won鈥檛 be back.
May 07, 2025 路 Diana GHarold our server was fantastic!! Started off with a Lychee-tini and Sake. He gave us the recommendation of the Local Scallop Dressed Nigiri which melted in our mouth. We next moved to the Salmon Crispy Rice which was very flavorful from the Yuzu Gochujang sauce. We next moved on to one of Harold鈥檚 recommendations on Roll of the Day which was a Crazy Californian Roll with Alaskan King Crab which had a beautiful sesame seed crunch on top. And rounding out with the Bluefin Tuna O-Toro which has shishito peppers inside the roll, giving it a fresh palate cleaner feel.Overall would love to come again and try new things and get more recommendations from Harold 馃榿
Mar 26, 2025 路 Francesca FWe had the best time. Food was prepared to perfection. Our steward Harold was AMAZING, guided us, and chose our dinner. It will definitely be one of our spots every time we visit NYC!!
Dec 27, 2024 路 Angel P. vellafanes VellafanesWowww. I鈥檓 in complete shock right now. I stopped by here because I saw the 5 猸愶笍 review from over 80 people and figured it had to be decent. Boy was I fooled!! I鈥檓 thinking now that all these 5 猸愶笍 reviews are all from family and friends. 80+ real people cannot be this clueless about flavor. It is impossible that every person walked thru those doors and experienced what was written. Hands down the worst sushi I鈥檝e ever had. Every roll is either bland (even w all the garnishes inside) with 0 flavor or soaked in soy sauce or covered with an insane amount of crackers (yes crackers on sushi). ALL the fish had NO flavor. Not 1 thing except for the Kumamoto oysters had any flavor. I cannot believe that these reviews are from New Yorkers especially, a group of people that are supposed to know their sushi. If you鈥檙e a real sushi buff, this place is total and complete trash. There is no other explanation. I鈥檝e had sushi everywhere from Seki to Yasuda to Masa and Gari and more lower level spots that are very tasty. This place is an insult to the Japanese cuisine. Not to mention, I requested extra ginger and Ponzu sauce and was given neither! I鈥檓 totally speechless and hungry now 200$ later 馃く馃く
Oct 17, 2024 路 Lenny MoygerAn eclectic mix of solid Happy Hour drink choices, great atmosphere, and a well thought out and unique menu highlighting sustainable sushi. The dishes were dynamite, especially the salmon mini hand roll and butter scallops, which is a singular taste experience.
