I should have left this review sooner!! Doza is absolutely AMAZINGGGG!! I moved from Charleston, SC with my boyfriend about 6 months ago and we come to doza almost every week if not every other week. It is home! And probably some of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had. Coming from SC there really wasn’t much authentic Japanese food and my go to was always WASABI. But after coming here I can’t go to another Japanese place— the sushi, the ramen, the appetizers!!! It never misses. I’ve tried all the ramen (besides the spicy one) and I highly recommend giving one of them a try. The black garlic ramen and the A5 Wagyu ramen are delicious. For appetizers YOU HAVE TO GET the fried rice and the Chashu buns. And for the sushi me and my boyfriends go to are the playboy roll and doza!! You cannot go wrong with this place and it’s perfect for date night. Love you Doza!! 🥰🥰

The best authentic ramen noodles in town, super-rich broth is unresistingly delicious. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a legitimate ramen noodle. Doza’s stir-fried noodles with brisket were unique in flavor. I can't wait to try the food again next time.

This is a great little spot for sushi! We can in on a whim, and the food did not disappoint. We had the spicy tuna and the Doza roll. For a standard roll there was nice amount of spicy tuna that was very fresh with a nice kick. The Doza roll was melt in your mouth amazing! My date had the fried rice, which he raved about, and I must admit smelled incredible. They asked upon ordering if the pork was okay, so I imagine they would be open to making it without.Service was excellent as well. It was not very crowded on a Sunday night. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

The food was absolutely delicious!! Would love to come back. The Unagi Don eel bowl was incredible and the Doza ramen was perfect as well. One of my favorite spicy scallop rolls too.Only note to management would just be to make the restrooms a bit more cleanly.

I have been looking for a good sushi spot since moving to Charlotte and have found my new go-to! The chef surpassed my expectations with these quality nigiris in the omakase nigiri plate! I also tried the hamachi jalapeño for my appetizer but didn’t catch a picture of it and it was very flavorful and amazing!
