Dozo Omakase & Handroll Bar Reviews
We always like to try new restaurants, glad this one is now open. Tried their 15 course premium omakase. I was very impressed with every single bite! The cucumber salad was a great start, very refreshing and tasty. All the rest of the courses were very delicious, as well as looking good! I want to say that the fish they used here were super fresh, it literally melted in our mouths. We enjoyed every bite of it. Chef and staff were very friendly and attentive. Over all a 5 star experience! Glad we have found a new good sushi spot. We will definitely will go back!Plenty of parking too.
Jan 19, 2025 · Am DuThis place is definitely a new hidden gem! The sushi was amazing plus the chef was friendly and fun to watch at the bar. Do not let the low omakase price fool you - the fish they serve is definitely high quality and fresh (would say comparable to Hatsuyuki and Naminohana which are my usual local go-to spots). Highly recommend!
Apr 28, 2025 · Mounita RobThis place is amazing. Despite being a newly opened Omakase restaurant in Dallas, they've already hit the roof and aren't stopping there! The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the chefs are highly skilled. The sushi and other food is top notch, I'd even say they're better compared to other sushi places!Best of all, their prices are very affordable in comparison to your average omakase while maintaining a beautiful atmosphere and high-quality fish. The pairings of ingredients with said sushi blend beautifully in flavor, and what's even better is many things they have, such as their Ikura and soy sauce, are made or done in house! Meaning it's a flavor that only they can recreate!I would recommend this spot as one of my top restaurants to go to in general if you ever want a high-quality, fine-dining sushi experience with the added bonus of not having to worry about your wallet!
Jan 19, 2025 · Tersha SerouI had Dozo on my list to try and so happy I finally got to go. This is my new favorite sushi spot in Dallas. The staff were so attentive and friendly and you cannot beat the $38 dollar 7 course omakase. They have plenty of appetizer options and the nigiri and hand rolls were 1000/10. The otoro was my favorite. Will be back!
Mar 22, 2025 · Samantha ZavalaExcellent sushi spot! I've traveled all the way to Japan and had sushi from a Michelin star chef while in search of the best sushi spot and this may be my new favorite! Each little nigiri it's own special little meal, it was perfect and I didn't want it to end! Highly recommend, 6 of 5 stars
