Eat Tokyo

4.0
You’ve been WARNED ⚠️ The only thing that tasted good was their ginger dressing with side salad. We ordered almost $300 in food for Mother’s Day and it was so disappointing. First, whoever delivered it just left it on our porch. Didn’t ring the bell, didn’t text. We were hungry and thankfully I noticed it on the front porch (it seems like they use grub hub even though we ordered directly from their app).Second, several people said their sushi tasted like cleaning product. I had a simple California roll and didn’t notice this though.Third, the dumplings weren’t good. I didn’t even finish them. What kind of Japanese restaurant are you if you can’t even get the dumplings right?Chicken fried rice was delivered in an appetizer sized tray.Salmon hibachi had a good portion of salmon, but like all the other fried rice, it just tasted like it was soaked in soy sauce and who the hell gives a hibachi entree with edamame as the vegetable side? The website clearly pictures mixed vegetables. NONE of it tasted like fresh hibachi. The pork ramen only comes with pork, noodles, broth and a boiled egg. It usually is supposed to come with more sides and the taste was also underwhelming. The earl grey boba tasted like sugar water with a splash of milk. Where’s the “burst of flavor”?We will NEVER order from here again. All these other reviews claiming they are delicious food must either have suffered from COVID recently which affected their taste buds or they’re FAKE. - Naomi
