The rolls are okay from several experiences I’ve had … but this one star review is specifically for a TERRIBLE blue crab hand roll I just had from here tonight. Whoever the chef was tonight, yikes. SO FISHY. The worst I’ve actually ever had. I had to throw it out and couldn’t finish it. I gave it to my dog.

Not ADA friendly. Dined here multiple times over the past 2 years and loved it. Unfortunately, we tried taking our disabled friend who’s in a wheelchair, and he was not allowed in. He’s been here once before and they’ve opened up the side door to let him in that time. We offered to sit at the bar today to avoid using the steps, and we were not allowed. Guy in the front said he needed to contact the owner (to check if we were allowed in at all) multiple times and never got on the phone after pretending to call every time we tried to approach him. Ended up leaving after it was clear we would not be attended.

SMALLEST PORTIONS. Not worth the price. First time ordering from here, I paid $16 for this tempura which is the smallest portion ever. Seaweed salad $8 was also tiny, barely half of the container, and one of the rolls was also tiny for $22. Soooo disappointed how expensive this is that doesn’t match the price. The last two rolls we had (beach boys and mermaid) tasted good at least and were a normal portion size.

FanSea Sushi feels like home every time I visit. The staff is incredible, the service is exceptional, and the sushi? Absolutely fantastic. I don’t say this lightly, but their sushi is leagues ahead of the big-name spots like Sugarfish.The quality of the food is unmatched, and every dish feels crafted with care and love. It’s the perfect combination of incredible flavors and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back. If you’re looking for outstanding sushi and a place that treats you like family, FanSea Sushi is it!

This is a super beachy casual place (imagine a corner coffee house that serves sushi) with a nice view of the ocean from some tables.Recommend dining in for Happy Hour (weekdays 4-6pm) to take in the golden hour and beachy sunset vibes.The menu has a range from classic nigiri for delicate palates to aesthetic full-flavor rolls, and non-sushi appetizers. The flavors here are good but stronger than my preference. My favorite dish was the plain hamachi nigiri, because the fish was cut well and the rice for the nigiri came together just enough and wasn't dense.
