I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others. My experience at Fuji was extremely disappointing and upsetting. Despite being respectful and excited to try the food, I was treated very differently from other customers.From the moment I walked in, the staff was cold and dismissive, while treating others around me warmly. I was seated in a bad spot, ignored for long periods, and spoken to rudely. Meanwhile, other guests received excellent service and attention. It quickly became clear that this was not just bad service — it felt personal and racially motivated.No one should have to pay to be disrespected or made to feel unwelcome. I will not be returning, and I encourage others to be aware of how this establishment treats people before choosing to spend your money here.

This is a gem! I wanted takeout from a sushi place in Kew gardens and I’ve never tried this place before. I placed my order through Google picking up at a specific time and it was ready on time. This really surprised me how great the sushi was. Each sushi was wrapped nicely, freshly made, fair amount of protein in each one and came with real wasabi, not horseradish. The place looked like a nice date spot so definitely coming here again soon!

Just when I thought there weren’t any really good authentic Japanese restaurants in Queens New York, I find this little gem. Let me just start by saying how much I hate avocado on sushi and prefer fresh ice cold hamachi. Fuji didn’t disappoint! We dined inside and enjoyed the ambiance of tatami booth seating and exceptional customer service. Make sure Tiffany is working if you make a reservation. Top notch and 絶対的な完璧さ!
