Fujiyama-Ya Reviews
I like it here, the taste is very good. Before starting our ordered meal, they gave us a free soup that we really enjoy drinking. The avocado on top of the caterpillar roll is very fresh. We will come back again.
Jan 05, 2025 · Angel ZhaoGreat rolls, great prices, beautiful interior despite small space. On my first visit, I decided to get some avocado rolls and I found this restaurant. I paid $8.60 for two avocado maki rolls, each roll being six pieces. The avocado was ripe and the rolls were a good size. If you decide to visit this restaurant, you should dine-in. This restaurant does to-go orders, but they're really dine-in oriented. On a different visit, I dined in and had the chicken donburi, California roll, and mushroom roll. The chicken donburi was filling, the California roll was wonderful, but the mushroom roll was extremely salty. My total was $21.55 before tax. This restaurant has great prices and great food, which is why I recommend checking it out.
Jun 05, 2023 · Nealhappy to have stumbled upon this place. the rolls were good, sashimi fresh, and fried things used a beer-like batter that was more doughy / golden crispy rather than the thinner crumbly style — karaage had some tenderized meat inside instead of large chunks of thigh which was unexpected but interesting. the gomae and agedashi tofu were generous. overall, nice home-y japanese mom n pop serving a bunch of classics, humble and satisfying for a casual dinner date.
Jun 27, 2024 · Winnie XuI love this place and it's been consistently delightful over a dozen or so visits. Excellent sushi and lovely staff.
Oct 29, 2024 · Anthony CesnikA “hole in the wall” that serves good sized portions and good food.-Beef Teriyaki & Unagi teriyaki combo: the beef was plentiful and tender I got more than I was expecting. That’s always a plus! The unagi was a huge piece that came sizzling to the table. Melted like butter, make sure to pair with rice as there are a few bones.-Chicken Katsu: lightly battered crispy pieces of chicken. Portion size was perfect.
