Fukuyama Introduce
For New Yorkers always on the hunt for their next great meal, Fukuyama in Williamsburg offers a delightful surprise. This unassuming Japanese restaurant, though small in size, packs a powerful punch when it comes to flavor and quality. While many places might excel in one specific area, Fukuyama defies expectations by delivering both exceptional sushi and remarkably good ramen, making it a versatile and highly recommended spot for locals seeking authentic and satisfying Japanese cuisine.
What truly sets Fukuyama apart is its ability to master two distinct Japanese culinary arts. While customers consistently praise the "delicious" sushi, describing it as a "great sushi spot in the neighborhood," it's the ramen that often elicits genuine surprise and admiration. As one reviewer aptly put it, "Normally, restaurants that do not specialize in ramen have very lackluster ramen, but the broth here was very flavorful and the noodles were nice and chewy." This unexpected excellence in ramen, combined with their fresh sushi and a cozy "tiny with a small dining room" atmosphere, creates a dining experience that's both comforting and impressive for Brooklyn diners. Whether you're in the mood for a light sushi roll or a hearty bowl of noodles, Fukuyama is poised to become your new local favorite.

Great sushi spot in the neighborhood. It's tiny with a small dining room. The sushi here was delicious. The ramen stood out. Normally, restaurants that do not specialize in ramen have very lackluster ramen, but the broth here was very flavorful and the noodles were nice and chewy.
