Full Moon Sushi Reviews
4.5 Stars, hole in the wall that you can feel is family owned. Service is a little slow but I’d rather support a locally owned business with high quality food and competitive pricing.Server was nice, head chef is blasting away at making rolls and things feel organized. I don’t blame them for not having too much staff but the right staff. In a dated business park, plenty of parking and small quaint place.
Oct 29, 2024 · Anthony DavidI had higher hopes based on the many positive reviews. The menu pictures look a lot better than their final product. The calamari on the menu looks amazing but upon arrival, it's very small and not worth the $$ spent. It didn't taste very good either...The salmon handroll was okay, the seaweed paper was more on the mushy side, I wouldn't order it again but would try other hand rollsThe Tatka Tuna sushi roll was decent, 8 pieces is good value, but I can't say this was delicious. The baked mussels came in 3's. They are small and over priced like the calamari, not worth ordering again and soaked in a sweet sauce. Mussels are fabulous by their own unique flavor but the sauce on this dish buries the natural flavor of the mussels...I would not order these again. The atmosphere is really nice and positive and their food service was kind and prompt.Personally, I wouldn't return but am grateful for having come❤️There are better sushi restaurants in town.
Jan 19, 2024 · Working out for Jesus (WOFJ)What can I say 🤷 If you love ❤️ sushi then go to Full Moon Sushi 🍣 in Tustin. Tonight was my third time and it was SO good 👍. I had the Gyoza (pan fried) and Baked Mussels for starters. My main dishes were The Volcano Roll and Jalapeño Yellow Tail roll. Paired with the large Kirin Beer it was AMAZING! My waitress Nao (pronounced Now) was spot on! She took care of my every need. I highly recommend her if you can request her. I'm not sure if they do that but she was GREAT!
May 08, 2024 · Don SorokaThe teriyaki and tempura combos were great. Gyoza was very good. Only disappointment was the California roll. It’s usually crab, avocado and cucumber, but there was no cucumber and almost no avocado. I’d expect a basic roll to be done well. Makes me wonder then about the quality of the large rolls. Despite that, I’d definitely come back.
Jan 31, 2023 · Paulo FamilyNice cozy atmosphere. The sushi chef and hostess are friendly. Service is a bit slow sometimes due to less staff, but they will come around. Food quality and price are decent. It's a good place if you need your sushi/Japanese bento fix without breaking your wallet.
