Futago Udon Reviews
The udon noodles were so chewy and one of the best noodles I’ve had thus far in the states. The portion sizes are also huge and very filling. Fried oysters were a bit expensive for how many it came.If you don’t want to wait, I recommend coming before 6pm. We waited about 20 minutes for a seat.
Apr 26, 2025 · Jessica LThe uni udon was one of my favorite meals in Boston! Noodles were chewy and the uni, crab and roe made it a decadent meal. Super pleased with the quality, taste and service. I came around 5 pm on a Sunday and did not have to wait. Recommended if you love seafood and udon!
May 06, 2025 · Esther HTHE BEST Udon place in Boston. I crave their sukiyaki every 2 weeks and when I tell you this bowl completes me, I really meant it! The broth, the noodle the topping, just everything about their food is amazing! I should really branch out and taste more options but their sukiyaki is just THAT good I go back to it every time I come! Their portion is huge I never leave this place hungry and unsatisfied.Wait time is hit or miss they do get lots of businesses so depends lm the time you’re coming, we didn’t have to wait at all yesterday! Server isn’t too friendly, but accommodating. Parking is hard to find because it’s Boston, but trust me this place is WORTH!Update: The servers are RUDE. Every time I come they don’t even seem to want to work. We’re paying customers that tips, so I don’t know what is the problem. I don’t think asking to have some more time to look at the menu, or a straw is unreasonable especially when they weren’t even that busy. And no, we’re not chain ordering. You guys need to do better!
May 05, 2025 · Binh TranWe stopped in at Futago Udon on Sunday for lunch in January. Free 2 hours down the street. Fried purple sweet potato has a crunchy taste with simple sauce for appetizers. Then fried pork curry soup and tender pork Udon with miso broth. Perfect for warming up on a cold day
Jan 12, 2025 · p matzkerI visited this udon restaurant today after hearing great things about their sea urchin udon. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The sea urchin looked off in color, not the usual bright yellow, and tasted very unfresh with a strong chemical-like flavor, almost like formalin. When I brought this up to the server, their response was quite rude and dismissive, saying I had almost finished it, even though I only took a few bites. They did replace the dish with a pork and kimchi udon, but it wasn’t much better, with too much fat on the pork. Overall, not a great dining experience, and I won't come back.
