This sustained recognition speaks volumes about their quality and consistency.
- Unique Culinary Offerings: Beyond the rare authentic dishes, they offer unique preparations such as the "Hana Egg" (a visually stunning dish with crisp tempura, oozing egg yolk, and a yogurt-mentaiko sauce) and the "Honeymoon Shooter" (a non-alcoholic blend of uni and oyster).
- Friendly and Knowledgeable Staff: While not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, the mention of "Lynn and crew" with a "hat's off" suggests appreciative recognition of the staff's efforts and service quality.

Hana Japanese Eatery Reviews
So interesting experience. Atmosphere was really nice, the sushi was tasty. Problem was the rolls are very small and the rice was quite loose. Also the amount of fish was REALLY small. The sashimi was the thinnest cheapest I have EVER had. So in short be prepared to spend 40% more $$ on your meal of sushi!
March 09 · Geromie IsomHere’s a little trick to see if a place is authentic Japanese. If they offer one or all of these three dishes:- Chawanmushi- Chirashi- YamakakeIf they offer none of these, unlikely to be authenticIf they offer one of these, good chance they are.Hana is fairly authentic Japanese and that’s rare indeed. Recommend the Bento and most everything else. They also offer Natto off-menu, as well as Chirashi. Hat’s off to Lynn and crew.
March 09 · Richard RobbinsI dont eat seafood (preference not allergy) so struggle to find options at Japanese restaurants but Hana has a variety of safe options!!! Big sake selection in my opinion and excellent authentic Japanese cuisine. If you have been to Japan like I have, you will be pleased with the cuisine at Hana.
November 23 · Kyle OEnjoyed this authentic Japanese restaurant on a whim! The service was so great and everyone extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant is casual and can be a good spot for a casual date night, meal in, or friend catch up.The food was really good and great quality! The Hana Bento Box blew away my expectations - the sashimi melted in your mouth and tasted fresh. The ramen was also good and noodles had a nice chew and broth had good umami flavor. The Sea Bass Sakamushi was good, but only came with 5 pieces (not advertised on menu about pieces) for $25 - so pricey for the quantity.
November 04 · Amanda泣くほど美味し。Excellent food, attentive service. Best gyoza I've had in awhile...since my Japanese sister-in-law was in town, actually.Almost did not miss the ra-yuu.Tempura was delicious, came with grated daikon ((適度に).Dessert was a Fuji apple cream puff, and an excellent example of what fusion dishes should be.We did not have sushi as we were excited about the selection of izakaya dishes, and we each brought only one stomach, but everything going to other tables looked wonderful. Next time. Please note it is no longer a BYOB place, which made us very happy. They had a wide range of drinks, and we had our First-ever Japanese IPA. It of course was excellent.
