Haru Ichiban Japanese Restaurant Reviews
Small, family-owned vibe—clean and cozy with friendly, standard service. Food was decent for the price. Quality and taste overall were average, but good enough for a casual family meal. I’m a picky eater, and while the Special Ramen had a nice homemade feel, the Spicy Tan Tan Ramen (on their popular list) didn’t hit the mark for me—left half the bowl untouched. It’s a spot I’d bring the kids to occasionally, but not somewhere I’d personally crave or go out of my way to revisit. Maybe there are other dishes worth trying, but this was my first impression.
May 28, 2025 · Duke NguyenMy husband and I tried this place after work. IT’S TRULY AMAZING. We appreciate the menu in Japanese & English.Everything sounded very appetizing. The service was friendly and attentive. We will bring friends and family to this place! :)We ordered chicken (skewers / forgot the name), Omakase, grilled shiitake mushrooms and beef Negimaki. All such good quality dishes!
May 02, 2025 · T. S.They have plenty of seating and a large menu with many items to choose from. Tasty food, but the sashimi left some quality to be desired. It was chewy and had some hard spots. The ginger dressing on the salad was watery. The miso was pretty tasty.
May 05, 2025 · Virginia MooreI have celiac disease and my server was able to help me find a safe choice on the menu and even offered to bring us gluten free soy sauce! I wanted to order the ginger salad but she informed me it had soy sauce, which I would have never known. Saved me from a world of hurt! Service was quick and food was good.
Jan 16, 2025 · Gabrielle GodfreyI'm struggling to write this because my experience seems so absurd. I rarely write 1-star reviews, but this one is warranted.Ordered mackerel dinner and seafood udon via UberEats. The mackerel was good (though badly overcooked), but was missing rice of all things. The seafood udon was swimming in sauce, squid was GREY and rubber, crab was chunks of imitation, shrimp was tough and completely over-cooked, and to top it all off, there was a collection of onion skin coating the top! A sliver or two, I could forgive, but there was so many chuncks, it looked like they didn't even bother to take the skin off the half onion cooked into my dish. At that point, I didn't want to risk the muscles. Truly, the ONLY edible thing was the noodles.Maybe the sushi here is good, but probably won't get to try it.Meal came quickly and Uber gave us a refund (bless UberEats!), but with all the other Asian restaurants in the area, won't be coming back to this one.
