House of Hamada Reviews
Amazing experience, our waiter and cook were entertaining and engaging. We ordered the hibachi. I got the shrimp, scallop, and lobster. My friend got the chicken and scallop. Both meals were plentiful and delicious. The plum wine was tops... upon entering, you are greeted with a sign that there is a 20% service fee on all orders. Also, if you don't want to sit next to strangers, then hibachi is not for you! The food is delicious and the service was outstanding! I don't like the automatic service charge, but again, I guess it saves you from calculating the tip yourself.
Jan 05, 2025 · C F DavisWe ordered our food to go. We both got the Samurai Choice(steak & chicken) chicken fried rice, appetizer noodle. The food was delicious. The steak and chicken was well seasoned. It's a little pricey but it was really good. I wish they had a hibachi lunch special.
Feb 15, 2024 · Hey it's meI had never been to this place, and the food was just alright to me. It's normally delicious and never packed like their other location. I went with a group of ladies I graduated with and actually recommend this place because it's always the bomb. That day, I thought, I felt like I chose the wrong location. My best friend even stated it was a different taste, and she had to send the rice back, but I'm not saying I won't go again. I just hope things have changed back to the food I so love....
Apr 03, 2025 · Nina WhiteGood food and the chefs do everything they can to put on a good show. There should be a bit more attention paid to seating arrangements and crowding. Understanding that the eating is supposed to be communal, they would probably do even more business if they didn't jam a butt into every seat at every table and left a little room when able... would inspire more repeat customers
Mar 19, 2025 · Shawn HallI prefer House of Hamada in Orland over the original in Tiney. It's usually less crowded too! The staff seems nicer, more accommodating and the Hamada chefs are excellent. We had a few bad experiences at the Tiney one, over cooked food, very fishy tasting shrimp & super long waits.
