Ichiban Chinese and Japanese restaurant Reviews
Definitely highly recommend this place to anyone got the pu pu plater for 2 cooked to perfection all of it except for the chicken fingers they were a bit in the greasy side but delicious. They have regular tables and the ones I seat at because I wanted to feel like I am over there in China or Japan. Definitely took my shoes off to enjoy the experience. Omg I came a second time here got a different drink sushi and spare ribs. Omg 3rd time coming here had to try fried dumplings and they was so good.Came here one last time to try a dish and now I haven’t been here because the pork fried rice was super salty like it wasn’t eatable at all waste of money. I won’t be returning
Jul 28, 2024 · Luz FloresI had chicken katsudon with fried rice instead of white. (I didn't specify which type of fried rice but it tasted like pork) The chicken was really good but was different than what I've had in Japan, it was covered in egg(not a bad thing). It was served with a side of Miso soup that I didn't enjoy, but visually looked correct. The fried rice had good flavor but way too many fillings like carrot and other things I couldn't identify. There was barely any rice because so much of the bowl was taken up by these other fillings. I also had Szechuan dumplings as a side appetizer. The flavor was alright, 3/5, but they weren't folded well and were a bit tough, making it difficult to eat.
Mar 25, 2025 · Brandan PhelpsI do not normally post reviews, but we were so disappointed with our visit recently. We met my daughters for their birthday dinner, it's been a few years since we've visited Ichiban, and I can say we will never go back. The waitress was rude and dismissive, stone faced and miserable. She rushed away from the table without everyone even finishing their orders multiple times, zero personality, acted almost angry to have to serve customers... it was strange as someone who has worked in food service. When bussing tables, literally smashing dishes into a bin over and over. It was not very busy, and we are a very easy going, understanding group, we were completely frustrated and in absolute awe of the state of it all. The restaurant itself was grimey, filthy table cloth hissen by paper mats, bathrooms beond gross, no tp, paper towel machine falling off the wall, I had to catch it before it hit me. The food was mediocre at best, warm when it arrived, which was shoved at us rudely each time. I wanted to walk out as soon as we sat but we were looking forward to being together after having to reschedule 4 times. I wish I had. Never again.
Mar 17, 2025 · Chandra H.My mother in law brought over food for Christmas and it was good. The only things i didn't care for: the vegetable stir fry was undercooked and the crab Rangoons were a little too sweet for me. But the rice was delicious!
Jan 12, 2025 · Angie WigginsI've only ever gotten delivery but it's consistently fantastic. Crisp fresh vegetables, ultra crispy chicken fingers, and their duck sauce is delicious. Check them out!
