Ichiban is hands down my go-to spot for ramen in Fresno! The food is absolutely amazing, with a variety of broths to choose from—whether you’re in the mood for something thick and rich or lighter. The portion sizes are generous, and the flavor is consistently top-notch every time I visit.The restaurant itself is cozy, despite being on the smaller side, and the walls are lined with classic anime artwork, giving the place a fun and welcoming vibe. One thing I really appreciate is the staff’s attention to detail. On one occasion, we arrived just 40 minutes before closing, and even though it was late, they graciously seated us. When it started getting stuffy inside, they even asked if we wanted the door open, showing that they really care about making sure guests are comfortable.The service is fantastic, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Fresno—if you love ramen, you won’t be disappointed!

Small little place. Packed when we got there so call ahead. The food was very flavorful and about $20-25 per person. The egg in my soup was questionable as it doesnt even look like the ones people are posting. However, the thing that turned me off a bit was that there was bug/fly deep inside the ice of the complimentary water being served. Out of our three person party, two of us had to ask for new cups because of that issue.

Very tasty food and attentive service. Basic decor, but you did not come for that. We come for the ramen. No idea about the pho, but I’d be shocked if it is not equally good. The smoothies were also very good. A great place to satisfy your ramen cravings.

Service was great, 5/5. Any restaurant where the waiter returns to refill water gets a 4-5 star from me. Atmosphere is fine, and food was good or fair; I/we ordered ramen both times. I wanted to give the place another try before leaving a review, so this is my second time here.
