Ichiban Sushi - All You Can Eat! Reviews
Alrighty, gather ‘round, folks! I just had the pleasure of dining at Ichiban All You Can Eat Sushi Buffet in Greer, SC, and let me tell you-it was a sushi sensation that really *rolled* with the punches. (See what I did there? Sushi puns are my *roll* model.)For about $17, you get to eat all the sushi your heart desires. It’s like a buffet, but instead of fried chicken and mashed potatoes, it’s fish, rice, and seaweed-basically a fancy way to say, “I’m eating the ocean, but it’s socially acceptable.”The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, perfect for a dad who likes to enjoy his meal without having to shout over a rock concert. The staff? Faster than me trying to grab the last piece of sushi before my kids do. They bring your orders out fresh, so you’re never stuck with sad, soggy rolls. It’s sushi served with a side of speed-no snail mail here! The menu is a delightful spread of options. I tried the Ichiban Roll, which is crab, avocado, cucumber, topped with spicy tuna and tempura crunch. It was so good, I almost did a happy dance-don’t worry, I kept it classy. Plus, if sushi isn’t your jam, they’ve got fried rice and crab Rangoon, so even picky eaters can join the party without feeling like a fish out of water.Heads up: there’s a 15-piece nigiri limit, so pace yourself unless you want to roll out of there like a sushi burrito. And don’t waste food, or they’ll charge you extra-because nobody likes a wasabi waster. Remember, eat what you can, or your wallet might feel the sting! In short, Ichiban is a sushi lover’s dream and a dad joke enthusiast’s paradise. Great food, great price, and enough rolls to make you say, “That’s how I roll!” If you’re in Greer and hungry, sushi-go to Ichiban. It’s un-brrr-lievable! (Okay, I’ll stop now.)
May 03, 2025 · It's DadUpdate: Tonight wasn't as great. The vegetables were not much different than regular places, certainly not as delicious as last time... But then there was the added issue of that it was squash instead of zucchini. The waitress said she asked and the guy said they're both zucchini. I said well- they are both types of squash, but brown rice and white rice might both be the same thing but they are quite different in taste. We had to wait for refills multiple times. We will still go back but it just wasn't as good as the first time we went. Oh and no more decor and flair on the plates.Original: Fantastic all you can eat pricing for sushi! My boys loved it. My hibachi steak was just ok, but the veggies were some of the best hibachi veggies I've had anywhere-- not mushy overdone and not still raw. I do wonder how those flowers get cleaned between orders, but ya know. We will def be back!
Jan 25, 2025 · Erica MOkay. Here we go with another food-coma worthy rant of epic proportions! Saddle up, my little pinecones. Because today we are in Greer, SC (pronounced Grur if you're cousins with your mom or talk like me).First impression was "why is the parking lot empty?"I want you to know I am now 4 pieces shy of finishing my second roll and I still can't figure it out. This place should be hopping constantly. As soon as we stepped inside we were warmly greeted by at least 3 employees. Each one was smiling and made pleasant eye contact. I wrote it off at first. They're not busy, they can, right? I would have been wrong to double down on that thought. That level of hospitality, courtesy and service hasn't let up at all during the visit. So we get seated by an angel of a girl who I'd wager would soften the most bitter heart in moments. We are presented with 3 small menus; drinks, dinner menu, and specials. No wasted space. Despite my reluctance toward a lengthy menu every inch was put to use. Wide selection without trying to be something it's not. My excitement grows. There's no sweet tea so I get Dr. pepper because the doc and sushi go great together. Fight me.Per usual I go for Miso soup. Cucumber salad with ginger dressing and a color dragon roll because I need eel sauce like meth heads need Jesus.I won't go into detail but we know I know food and I'm going to go ahead and say this is the reigning sushi spot in my life as of today. Fresh fresh fresh ingredients!!! Real wasabi, fresh seafood, not frozen. They probably mixed up the Dr Pepper themselves y'all.Start to finish I grunted with pleasure with every bite to the point that hot wife gave me "the look". I shut up but I still made that sound in my heart. So I got another roll; Angry Dragon Roll. Y'all if fried chicken and sushi had a chill baby and it grew up to be the next Nick Cage this would be that baby!I don't know what I mean by that. The food is setting in and I want a nap and another roll to go but hot wife says I need to "stahpitdoodforreal" and we're going shopping. So come get you some food but bring a cooler so you can get some ToGo rolls.Oh yeah the decor is great too. Very laid back environment. Loved this place. 6 star material.
Apr 23, 2025 · J JBest sushi near downtown Greer and it’s all you can eat! I’m very picky about sushi, but Ichiban checks all of my boxes! It’s in the same location where Romano’s was located. They also serve other Asian cuisine that is delicious! In addition to the great food, the service is great! The staff is attentive and friendly.Give Ichiban a try, they won’t disappoint!
Feb 01, 2025 · Bonnie BI have been eating sushi for 15 years and this is by far the best I’ve ever eaten. Lovely staff and cute little restaurant. Don’t expect to spend less than $25 though. You’ll want to try more than one item on the menu.
