(Note: The related Sushi I-Naba, sometimes operating within Inaba, offers a higher-end omakase sushi experience, further speaking to the group's sushi expertise).
-
Tempura: A prominent offering, their "made-to-order light tempura that arrives crispy and fresh" is a highlight, with "noodles and tempura at the end are a big highlight." -
Exceptional Noodles and Tempura: The "noodles and tempura at the end are a big highlight" of the Kaiseki meal. The tempura is described as "made-to-order light tempura that arrives crispy and fresh," using high-quality cholesterol-free vegetable and sesame oils. Their soba noodles are also "freshly beaten daily."
-
Generous Portions: Despite the refined nature of Japanese cuisine, customers note that they "serve a lot of food so make sure you have room!", indicating good value and a satisfying meal.

-
Commitment to Quality Ingredients: Inaba emphasizes using premium ingredients, including "shrimp and other ingredients shipped directly from Japan" and "Petaluma Rocky Chicken," the largest organic chicken producer in the U.S., ensuring safety, taste, and lower fat content. Fish is prepared with "authentic Edo-mae work," using "only the best parts of the fish."
-
Cleanliness and Well-Managed Kitchen: While not explicitly mentioned in the provided short reviews, the nature of a high-quality Japanese restaurant, especially one offering Kaiseki, implies meticulous attention to cleanliness and kitchen management.
-
Options for Different Dining Experiences: Whether it's the elaborate Kaiseki, a simple Salmon Bowl (noted as a "much better deal" by one reviewer, suggesting excellent value), or specific noodle and tempura dishes, Inaba offers diverse options for different occasions and preferences.
While the provided customer reviews do not detail specific, ongoing promotions for Inaba Japanese Restaurant, the nature of a traditional Japanese establishment, especially one offering Kaiseki, often means value is found in the quality of ingredients, the artistry of preparation, and the overall dining experience. However, based on general restaurant practices and available public information, some common types of offers or value points may include:
-
Lunch Specials/Sets: Many high-quality Japanese restaurants offer more accessible lunch menus or sets that provide a taste of their craftsmanship at a more affordable price point. Inaba does indeed have a separate "Lunch Menu" that features various noodle dishes and donburi.
-
Set Menus (beyond Kaiseki): While the Kaiseki is a high-end set, restaurants often have other "dinner set" options that combine various dishes for a comprehensive meal at a fixed price, which can be seen as a value offering. One review mentioned a "dinner set" that was enjoyed.
-
Delivery Platform Deals: As Inaba is available for delivery via platforms like Grubhub, customers might find occasional platform-specific promotions such as discounts on their first order, free delivery, or percentage-off deals.
-
Seasonal Offerings: Traditional Japanese restaurants frequently introduce seasonal ingredients and dishes, which, while not a discount, offer a unique and limited-time culinary experience that adds value for returning patrons.

Inaba Japanese Restaurant Reviews
We ordered the Kaiseki dinner set and it was absolutely delicious. They serve a lot of food so make sure you have room! The fish is phenomenal and the noodles and tempura at the end are a big highlight. I can't wait to go back again soon!
November 03 · Julia RoseGot the dinner set, but my friend’s salmon bowl tasted better to be honest, and it’s a much better deal
May 18 · Laura DangCame here for a quick dinner with my friend since she wanted me to eat healthier and we were in the Torrance area.Been to the Inaba on Oahu and also Ichimiann in Torrance so when I ordered the Soba and Tempura set I was amazed at the small portion difference here compared to the other places. Sure the food and atmosphere is supposed to be higher end but I unfortunately found no value here....Wanted to grab a burger after here but kept my mouth shut since shed get mad. 3 stars
January 01 · P RANNAAlways a pleasure to dine here. The staff is so attentive and always remembers what I ordered a few weeks before. Its Michelen star rated for a reason. Classic Japan-style sushi spot with soba and udon too.
May 01 · Yoram KohanzadehThis is an insanely delicious and affordable authentic Japanese restaurant for 1 Michelin star ⭐️ restaurant (as of 2024).Despite being in South Bay for almost my entire life, I can't believe I never stepped foot in here. Tucked away in a humble strip mall, Inaba is truly a hidden gem. The food will take your mouth on a journey and transport you to Japan. From their sashimi to tempura to sushi to soba and so much more, nothing here disappoints.Surprisingly for a Michelin starred establishment, we were able to walk in at lunch and be seated immediately with no reservation. We opted for the "Kaiseki Lunch". A full 8-course meal for only $85 per person (before tax + tip). Inaba is an absolute must if you're in the area looking for a mind blowing lunch.
