Ramen restaurant ★4.0 (552)·$20–30

First time to this location and it’s extremely disappointing! Mediocre food with high price and terrible service!!We came in on the slow mid-day, got seated right away. I was super excited about the good options for vegetarian bowls despite the higher price. I had the Nirvana Classic ramen, the broth was delicious, ramen was cooked to perfect texture, but for a $23 bowl, the topping is very skimpy. The biggest turn off was the server!! She basically ignored customers (not just us!) big time! I had a hard time catching her to order some add-ons, and same thing happens when we’re ready for the check. Again, the place was NOT busy at all. At this point, I rather this place be an ‘express’ version— order and pay digitally!!I’ve been coming to Ippudo for years every time I visit NYC, maybe this will be the last time, I much rather go to some non-chained ramen shops in the city. Now I started to understand why Ippudo has not been a place mentioned on social medias anymore. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ - Alpaca Paca

Promotions or Special Offers

While specific, regularly rotating daily promotions or fixed happy hour deals are not consistently highlighted in recent public reviews for IPPUDO 5th Avenue, the IPPUDO brand globally does engage in various promotional activities. For instance, past promotions have included collaborations for unique ramen bowls (like the "Men in Black" ramen). Some online sources also indicate that IPPUDO locations may have "Happy Hour Specials."

It is important for New Yorkers seeking specific promotions to:

  • Inquire Directly: The most reliable way to find out about any current or upcoming special offers is to call IPPUDO 5th Avenue directly at (212) 354-1111.
  • Check Online Platforms: Reviewing their official website (ippudous.com) or checking popular food delivery platforms like Uber Eats, which list their current menu and prices, might also reveal any ongoing deals.
  • Look for In-Restaurant Announcements: Promotions might be advertised within the restaurant itself, so keep an eye out for any signage or special menus when you visit.

While some customer feedback touches on the higher price point of the ramen bowls, the consistent quality of the broth and noodles, especially for specific ramen types, often justifies the cost for many patrons. The "delicious" food and "nice ambiance" are primary draws for customers, rather than deep discounts.
