Izakaya Tora Reviews
Great spot for late night dining. Usually, the parking lot is crazy whenever I come to the area. I was here after 10 pm and the lot had a lot more spaces than I thought would be. Service was good. Service was good. David was nice and attentive.Food:Tempura Mushroom FriesChili Crisp TofuPork Belly SkewersSpicy Tuna RollSome pieces of the pork belly was hard however, the flavor was delicious Right amount of salt. The mushroom tempura was a No for me. I didn't like that it was so soft. Not Crispy at all.The spicy Tuna was nice and clean. I enjoyed every bite. Lastly, I enjoyed the chili crisp tofu. The Tofu was regular in texture. I enjoyed dipping it into the chili oil. Seemed like it had schezuan oil.Overall, a great spot and I'll definitely return for late night eats.
Mar 04, 2025 · Nette RabI visited for my birthday dinner and I was not disappointed! Amazing sushi selection and everything was so fresh. The presentation was simple, but the flavors complex and went well together. My waitress was attentive and helpful with making suggestions. If I'm in Vegas again I will definitely stop in for another round of tasties.
Jan 11, 2025 · A JohnsonTired of over sauced so so sushi? Izakaya Tora really focuses on letting the quality of the fish shine each dish expertly made to an 11 out of 10! We tried salmon belly and yellowtail belly nigiri, spicy salmon/spicy tuna/yellowtail jalapeno hand roll, assorted appetizers and the Hokkaido Dragon cut roll. Each dish was absolutely amazing and there was not a single thing we wouldn't order again. The best thing is that they're open late.
Mar 22, 2025 · Renzo MasciaVery small place but the vibe was just right. Wasn’t too busy and I went on a Wednesday evening around 8:30. The waiter SJ was supper detailed on each item he recommended as it was my first time. The gyoza was not made in the traditional way but it was just as good as most of the popular spots. The Chicken kaarage was super flavorful and the crunch!!!! Lastly the kimchi and bacon fried rice with sunny side up egg on top it was just enough spice to give me what I needed and paired well with the Tozai sake. Definitely a great place for business meeting or date night!!! I had such a great experience! They even have a Sake brand that is in collaboration with Pharrell Williams. I will be back to this hidden gem!!!
Dec 05, 2024 · Thomas JacksonIt’s a little hole in the wall, but if you crave or want a true izakaya experience then you have to come here. The food is great and the staff is very welcoming. Again, the food is great! I’ll pull the “I’ve been to Japan” card, but the nigiri here is ridiculously good. The wasabi was fresh and complimented the fish so well. The ramen was also incredible, they crushed it with the broth. Date night, celebration, dinner with friends? You gotta try it
