My absolutely FAVORITE sushi place. I come here every once in a while, since I don’t live close by, but every time it’s so worth it!! The taste never disappoints and the prices are great - we are always full +have a little leftovers too. Here is what me and my husband usually order and these are some of our favorites:

Excellent place for sushi! Quality of sushi is excellent and so is the price. I believe no roll was over $12 and everything was done with care. The rolls were very fresh and had the perfect amount of rice.Service was incredible! The waitress couldn't have been nicer! Super attentive but not annoyingly so. Food was served quickly and the waitress even brought out an extra roll (and dessert) for us on the house.For the quality & service alone, this is the best place to go in MD. The affordable pricing is just the icing on the cake.A definite recommend.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at J&Y Sushi. I placed a carry-out order for four rolls, expecting a reasonable wait time. Instead, it took two hours—and not once did the staff offer an apology, an explanation, or any gesture of goodwill like a partial credit. No sense of urgency, no accountability. For a business in the service industry, this is laughable and inexcusable. As someone who values efficiency and professionalism, I won’t be returning.

One of the best sushi restaurants in the DMV!!!I really enjoy their chef’s special roll on the menu.They really know how to balance their sauces with freshness for their sushi.I was super excited to taste their chef’s special roll on the menu and let me tell you it’s amazing.The sushi came out beautifully and were very fresh made.Every roll on their menu is worth it !!!The creation on each roll was created beautifully.The food here is very delicious!!!They have a great selection.The quality of their sushi is phenomenal.The cheese cake on the dessert menu is great also.The staffs here are very very very friendly and very helpful.They kept this place very clean and very neat.I am highly recommend this restaurant, if you are in the Sykesville, Maryland area.This is a place you must check it out!!!
