Jackpot Teriyaki Introduce
Located at 8825 34th Ave NE STE J, Tulalip, WA 98271, Jackpot Teriyaki serves as a local establishment for Japanese cuisine, primarily focusing on teriyaki. Within the scope of a "Doctor Near Me" platform, while Jackpot Teriyaki does not provide medical services, it offers a distinct, yet equally important, service to the community: providing accessible and ready-to-eat meals. For residents and visitors in Tulalip, having convenient and satisfying food options contributes to daily comfort and routine, making such establishments vital in a practical sense.
The restaurant can be contacted via phone at (360) 716-2977 or mobile at +1 360-716-2977. This direct contact information simplifies the process of placing orders, which is crucial for a fast-casual dining experience. While specific operating hours are not provided in the given information, establishments like Jackpot Teriyaki typically cater to both lunch and dinner crowds, often opening from late morning until early evening. This schedule ensures that a wide range of customers can access their services throughout the day.
Jackpot Teriyaki is situated in a "little strip mall area," which suggests a casual and easily accessible location. Strip mall restaurants often feature a straightforward, functional interior designed for efficient service, whether for dine-in or takeout. The customer review mentions that "the rest of the place was" clean, indicating a generally well-maintained environment. However, a specific detail about the environment is the presence of only "1 handicap parking in the little strip mall area," which could be a consideration for patrons with mobility challenges. The review also notes that the bathroom was not used, so its cleanliness is unknown, but the general cleanliness of the main dining or waiting area is positively remarked upon. This type of setting is conducive to quick meals, offering a no-frills experience focused on the food itself rather than an elaborate ambiance.
Jackpot Teriyaki primarily offers dine-in and takeout services. The review indicates that customers can dine in, as it mentions details like tables and the condition of the restaurant. However, the nature of teriyaki restaurants often means takeout is a very popular option, catering to busy individuals or those who prefer to eat at home. The speed of service can vary, as indicated by one customer's experience where their companion's meal came out "way before" theirs, suggesting that meals may be prepared and served as they are ready rather than all at once for a party. While specific delivery partners are not mentioned, it is common for restaurants in strip malls to partner with third-party delivery services, expanding their reach to a wider customer base.
Jackpot Teriyaki's menu centers on Japanese teriyaki dishes and offers some other Asian-inspired options.
- Teriyaki Variations: The restaurant offers classic teriyaki dishes, including Pineapple Chicken Teriyaki. The description of grilled (possibly canned) pineapple indicates a standard approach to this popular variation. Another notable item is the Spicy Mushroom Chicken Teriyaki. However, a customer review clarifies that this is not a true teriyaki but rather chicken with a "spicy sauce" and teriyaki sauce served "on the side," noting that they "taste ok together." This distinction highlights a unique interpretation of a teriyaki dish that customers should be aware of.
- Ramen and Noodle Dishes: The menu includes Wonton Gyoza Ramen. However, a significant piece of customer feedback suggests this naming might be misleading, as the reviewer found "no wontons or gyoza" but rather "just dumpling ramen." This points to a potential misrepresentation of ingredients in some noodle dishes.
- Combo Meals: The "chicken goyza combo" indicates the availability of combination meals that include a main protein with sides, providing a complete meal option.
- Salad and Sides: Side dishes like salad are offered, and one review noted the salad was "clean and fresh," which is a positive indicator of attention to detail in food preparation.
- Spice Levels: For spicy dishes, there appears to be an implied spice level system, as a customer mentioned usually doing a "1 or 2, occasionally a 3," and finding a dish to be a "solid 3 on spice." This suggests that customers might be able to request different spice levels, though the consistency of these levels may vary.
Customer reviews provide a mixed, but generally willing-to-return, perspective on Jackpot Teriyaki. A strong positive aspect highlighted is the friendly staff. This suggests a welcoming and pleasant service experience, which can significantly enhance a customer's overall impression, even if there are minor issues with the food.
However, there are notable criticisms regarding the food itself. The Spicy Mushroom Chicken Teriyaki was described as having "overcooked" chicken that "squeaked" when bitten into, and required "washing it off in order to eat it" due to the spice level being higher than expected. This points to potential issues with cooking consistency and accurate spice level communication. The "Wonton Gyoza Ramen" was criticized for "false advertising" due to the absence of the stated wontons or gyoza, leading to disappointment and the feeling of receiving "just dumpling ramen." These specific criticisms suggest that some menu item descriptions might not accurately reflect the dish received.
Despite these food-related concerns, the sentiment "Would we eat there again? Yeah, we'd be willing to go again but I'd definitely try something else" indicates a willingness to give the restaurant another chance. This suggests that the positive aspects, such as friendly staff and potentially other well-executed dishes, outweigh the specific negative experiences for some customers. The mention of the husband's "chicken goyza combo" being "good" also points to successful dishes on the menu.
In conclusion, Jackpot Teriyaki in Tulalip, WA, offers a local option for Japanese teriyaki and other Asian-inspired dishes in a casual strip mall setting. Its friendly staff is a significant draw, contributing to a positive service experience. While some menu items have received criticism regarding accuracy of description, cooking consistency, or spice levels, the overall willingness of customers to return suggests that there are redeeming qualities, possibly in other dishes or the general convenience and service. For those in Tulalip seeking a straightforward Japanese meal, Jackpot Teriyaki presents an option, though customers might find it beneficial to explore different menu items based on reviews.

Jackpot Teriyaki Reviews
Got the pineapple chicken teriyaki and the wonton gyoza ramen. The teriyaki had grilled pineapple in it, I think canned, everything was good. The Ramen was kind of sus, I didn't see any wontons or gyoza. Gyoza usually refers to a pan fried or deep fried dumpling. Wontons are usually smaller, differently wrapped dumplings. There were some vegetables cooked with the broth. I think it's a bit of false advertising to be honest. It was just dumpling ramen
Nov 02, 2024 · Calvin ChangThe Spicy Mushroom Chicken Teriyaki listed under teriyaki is not teriyaki. It's a spicy sauce on the chicken with teriyaki sauce on the side. They taste ok together. My chicken was overcooked, you could tell from the squeak when you bit into it. Was told medium spice...I usually do a 1 or 2, occasionally a 3. This was probably a solid 3 on spice. My hubby's chicken goyza combo was good. His came out way before mine. The salad was clean and fresh. There was only 1 handicap parking in the little strip mall area. Didn't use the bathroom so no idea if it was clean but the rest of the place was.Staff was super friendly. Would we eat there again? Yeah, we'd be willing to go again but I'd definitely try something else. It's hard when you spend $17 on a meal plus a chicken breast upgrade and you end up just taking it home and washing it off in order to eat it.
Jul 17, 2024 · Rebecca HI give one star to this place, and that's only because my son's meal (chicken teriyaki) was decent, but I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, and my daughter ordered the orange chicken. We did order spring rolls as well, but 3 meals cost $89, which is just outrageous, but we thought the food must be good. The Orange Chicken and S&S chicken were so dry we could hardly chew them. I spit multiple pieces out. The spring rolls were soggy. I honestly threw my meal away. What a disappointment.
Mar 03, 2025 · Cody WolfeIf you like spicey chicken teriyaki, and you like spicey, I mean pretty spicey food, I'd recommend coming here. Good portions. Ambiance, not too much to write about. Food was pretty good. Nice people. Order of our food was wonky compared to who ordered first and who got their food last.
Dec 24, 2023 · John OsgoodWonderful greeting by the owners daughter minding the til. Exceptional spicy chicken teriyaki. Tons of heat with subtle sweetness with tender chunks of chicken.Under new ownership. Please consider making this place a success. I'll be back.
