While its primary service is not healthcare, its proximity and accessibility to a community that might be looking for services through a "Doctor Near Me" search makes it relevant for consideration. This introduction aims to provide a comprehensive and objective overview of Japan House II, drawing on available information to detail its environment, services, features, and any promotional aspects, helping local users make an informed decision.

When considering any dining establishment, the **environment** plays a crucial role in the overall experience. While specific details about the interior decor and ambiance of Japan House II are not explicitly provided in the available information, the general expectation for a Japanese restaurant often includes elements of clean design, potentially some traditional Japanese aesthetic touches, and a comfortable atmosphere for dining. For a restaurant situated in a suite within a commercial area, it's reasonable to expect a practical and functional layout, aiming to accommodate diners efficiently. The cleanliness and upkeep of the establishment are often reflected in customer reviews, which can offer insights into the dining environment. Since the information is limited on this specific aspect, an objective introduction must rely on what can be inferred or is commonly expected of similar establishments.
The **services** offered by Japan House II primarily revolve around providing fresh cooked Japanese food. Based on customer feedback, the restaurant offers both dine-in and **take-out** options. One reviewer specifically mentioned a "take out order," indicating this is a readily available service. The ease and efficiency of the take-out process are important for customers seeking convenience, a common desire for those utilizing "Doctor Near Me" platforms who may be on a tight schedule. Friendly service was noted by one customer, which is a positive indicator for overall customer experience. Good service extends beyond just order taking; it includes attentiveness, responsiveness, and a welcoming demeanor from the staff. For a local establishment, friendly and efficient service can significantly enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
Regarding **features**, Japan House II seems to focus on offering a variety of Japanese dishes. The mentioned "fresh cooked Japanese food" suggests a commitment to quality ingredients and preparation. Specific menu items highlighted by customer reviews include the **Chicken Rice Bowl**, described as "the most popular," the **Crab Roll**, advertised as "Soft Shell Crab with cream cheese," and **Fried Calamari**. These items give a glimpse into the range of offerings, from staple rice bowls to sushi rolls and appetizers. The popularity of the Chicken Rice Bowl indicates a potential signature dish or a crowd-pleaser that new customers might consider trying. The mention of "eel" as something a customer would try on a return visit also suggests it's a menu item, further diversifying the offerings beyond just common sushi rolls.
However, it's important to present an objective view, and customer reviews also provide critical feedback. One review highlighted inconsistencies between advertised dishes and what was received, specifically concerning the Crab Roll and Fried Calamari. The Crab Roll was expected to contain soft shell crab and cream cheese but included cucumber and imitation crab meat. The Fried Calamari was described as small, rubbery, tough, and not resembling its advertised appearance, also lacking sauce. These points of feedback are crucial for potential diners, as they indicate areas where the restaurant might need to ensure consistency and manage customer expectations more effectively. Such discrepancies can significantly impact customer satisfaction and willingness to return. It also underscores the importance of clear menu descriptions and accurate representation of dishes, especially in a competitive dining landscape.
In terms of **promotional information**, the available details do not explicitly state ongoing promotions, discounts, or loyalty programs. However, the mention of the Chicken Rice Bowl as "the most popular" can itself serve as a form of promotion, highlighting a highly regarded dish that might attract new customers. Restaurants often use their most popular items to draw in diners, relying on word-of-mouth and positive experiences. For establishments looking to attract customers from platforms like "Doctor Near Me," offering a lunch special, a combo deal, or a quick-service option could be effective promotional strategies, though no such specifics are provided here.
In conclusion, Japan House II in Gallatin, TN, offers fresh cooked Japanese food with both dine-in and take-out options. Its menu includes popular items like the Chicken Rice Bowl, along with sushi rolls and appetizers. While positive aspects like friendly service and the popularity of certain dishes are noted, customer feedback also points to potential inconsistencies in dish preparation and ingredient accuracy, particularly with the Crab Roll and Fried Calamari. For individuals using "Doctor Near Me" to find local services, Japan House II presents a convenient dining option nearby. The restaurant's contact information (phone: (615) 502-5828, mobile: +1 615-502-5828, address: 229 Maharris Dr Suite J, Gallatin, TN 37066, USA) is readily available for those looking to experience its offerings. Japan House II Reviews
Great place to enjoy fresh cooked Japanese food. Service was friendly and my take out order of what was described as the most popular rice bowl, Chicken Rice Bowl, was good. It would have been nice to see a picture of it. I would have gotten something with vegetables instead. I will come back again and try the eel sometime.
Apr 05, 2025 · David JackleWent in today to get a Crab Roll and an order of Fried Calamari. The crab roll is advertised as “Soft Shell Crab with cream cheese.” What I got was a roll with cucumber (I ordered this roll because I specifically wanted a roll that didn’t have cucumber, which I thought this was) as well as pieces of imitation crab meat. The calamari was given with no sauce of any kind and is the smallest, most rubbery, tough calamari I have ever ate and looks absolutely nothing like what is advertised. I thoroughly enjoyed the Goodletsville location, so this is very disappointing. If the goal was to keep me from coming back, well done, because I won’t be.
Nov 16, 2024 · colby owensA quiet hibachi restaurant. I wish I could say more for the food, but although the scallops were good the rest was subpar... even the drink machine was watered down. :( I'd recommend Ichiban or Hibachi Jr instead.PS: Parking is problematic, so if you eat here I recommend calling ahead and using their drive through instead.
Apr 23, 2025 · Nuetral768The prices are reasonable at first glance... saw sushi on sign but that seems to be an afterthought. Rolls are on the small side, and served on Styrofoam plates. Definitely feels odd eating sushi this way. The taste was decent, middle of the road. I got a spicy tuna roll and a salmon roll and it was $17. Chopsticks feel "icky" on the Styrofoam, no getting around that. There is potential here and the flavor was decent, especially for the price of 6.99 per roll, even if a bit small.Definitely go somewhere else if on a date. This is fast casual.
Jul 21, 2024 · Collin PetersonWe were headed to Publix to get dinner, but smelled this place and decided to give it a try. It was absolutely delicious! The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant is brand new and was very clean inside. The window where you can watch the food on the hibachi grill being made was really fun too.We got the chicken teriyaki, the steak yakisoba, and pork gyoza. The yakisoba was probably my favorite dish, but everything was great. The sauces were really yummy too. Definitely will be going back.
