JINYA Ramen Bar - Austin Reviews
We’ve been dining at JINYA Ramen Bar for years — it’s our favorite go-to spot whenever we’re craving ramen. The flavors are always on point, and the vibe is consistently great.During our visit last weekend, I ordered the new Chef’s Special - Birria Ramen (rich, bold, and comforting), my husband ordered the Spicy Umami Miso Ramen (perfect level of heat and deep flavor), and we shared the super refreshing Matcha Lychee Lemonade — a must-have drink! We also enjoyed the Pork Gyoza, which we redeemed for free using our JINYA points (love their rewards program!), and the classic JINYA Bun — soft, savory, and delicious which is also one of our favorites.JINYA never misses. Still our #1 ramen spot!
Apr 21, 2025 · Jobie AlcarazStopped by Jinya Ramen Bar and had a great experience. I ordered their ramen, takoyaki, and edamame, and everything hit the spot. The ramen was rich and flavorful, with a savory broth and perfectly cooked noodles. It was super comforting and satisfying. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and topped just right—definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in Austin. The edamame was a nice light starter, well-seasoned and fresh.Service was quick and friendly, and the vibe of the place is cozy but modern. Great spot if you’re craving Japanese comfort food in The Domain area.
Apr 23, 2025 · galuh anggerWe tried the Vegan Red Fire Opal Ramen Bowl — the soup had a nice flavor, but it could’ve used more vegetables to balance it out. Overall, it was a good dish. We also had the vegan dumplings; they were decent but could benefit from a bit more seasoning or boldness in flavor.
Apr 07, 2025 · Sri niWe recently found ourselves browsing The Domain and wanted a nice warm ramen to cap the night off with. So naturally, we ended up at the ever busy JINYA Ramen. We arrived and were quickly seated at the Ramen bar and our orders were taken just as fast. What happened next was quite surprising…We ordered a Tonkotsu Original 2010 and a JINYA Tonkotsu Black. The Tonkotsu Original had enough garlic in it that it would be considered a bioweapon in Transylvania. The smell and taste of garlic was so overwhelming that we quite frankly have no way of justifying it other than it was a bad batch of broth. Either way, that coupled with the very salty chasu meant that the whole dish was not good. The Tonkotsu Black was a bit more redeeming but ironically lacked a bit of flavor. The toppings were just okay and the egg (one of our favorites) was bland. We were incredibly disappointed as we hoped that given the price and location the food would be at the very least average. To put it frankly, our JINYA Ramen experience (at least this location), was propped up by the quick and friendly staff and the nice setting. The food was a complete letdown and we’ve eaten so much ramen over the years that we genuinely mean it. We only recommend that you stop by if you have a blood oath with Count Orlok that you just can’t quite shake.
Mar 16, 2025 · Amber LeeTo be completely honest, ramen is not the first thing I think of when I want to go out for a meal. But I gotta say, Jinya Ramen Bar was a pleasant surprise. It’s a nice place to sit outside, people watch, and get REALLY good food. I had a beer and the spicy tuna tacos. The tacos are tiny, but man, are they good. My family had the ramen bowls, and really enjoyed those as well. Nice place, with good food. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry.
