However, it is important to acknowledge that some customer experiences have varied significantly. While many praise the "delicious, fresh, and well-prepared" food, including sushi, and describe the service as "great" and "fast," one detailed review noted a "major disappointment" with the food quality, particularly the sushi (described as warm and tasting like gas station sushi) and a perceived lack of flavor in other dishes despite tenderness. This review also mentioned finding plastic wrapping in sushi, and difficulty reaching the restaurant by phone. This disparity in experiences suggests that while JP's House aims for high standards, consistency can be a factor. The pricing is noted by some as being on the higher end, leading to higher expectations.
JP's House, like many restaurants, may offer various promotions or specials to attract and retain customers. Based on available public data and typical restaurant practices:
Lunch Specials: JP's House offers distinct lunch specials, including a "Lunch Maki Roll Special" (Any 2 for $8.50, Any 3 for $10.50), "Lunch Bento Box" options, and "Lunch Hibachi" options. These are generally available during specific lunch hours (e.g., Tuesday-Friday: 11 AM-3 PM).
Online Ordering Deals: They often participate in promotions through third-party delivery platforms like Uber Eats or DoorDash. These can include discounts for first-time users, free delivery on certain order sizes, or seasonal promotions. Checking these apps directly when placing an order can reveal current deals.
Specialty Rolls/Entrees: While not strictly a promotion, the restaurant features "Special Rolls" and "House Specials" that might offer unique flavor combinations or seasonal ingredients that act as limited-time highlights on their menu.
Loyalty or Rewards Programs: Although not explicitly detailed, some establishments offer loyalty programs where frequent diners can earn points or receive exclusive discounts. It's always a good idea to inquire about any such programs when visiting.
Customers looking for the best value might consider visiting during lunch hours to take advantage of the more affordably priced lunch specials, which allow them to enjoy a comprehensive Japanese meal without breaking the bank.

JP's House Reviews
Quick Overview:TLDR: Food 2/10 | Service 6/10 | Atmosphere 5/10 | Price 2/10I just want to start by saying that I am not a picky eater, but this place was a major disappointment. How it is getting 4.5 stars on Google is beyond me, as that's what lead me to initially try the place.I came here with my girlfriend and she had the Filet Mignon over vegetables while I had the bento box a sushi appetizer. The sushi that we split was very mediocre and neither of us cared for it. It tasted like they were using imitation crab meat and it was warm, which for the price we paid, is just unacceptable. The bento box had tempura fried shrimp, white rice, steak, and sushi rolls. The sushi was just flat out bad on the bento box and tasted like sushi from a gas station. The tempura shrimp also wasn't great and while it didn't have a nasty fishy taste, it totally lacked any meaningful flavor. The filet mignon was the best thing on the box and while it looks fantastic in the photos, it didn't pack the flavor I was expecting. It was at least tender, but it just tasted off. My girlfriend also did not like her filet mignon that was on her dish either, so I knew it wasn't just my imagination.Neither of us liked our meal and for over $70 we will not be coming back. Very unimpressed. I had high hopes because it looked like my kind of place but it really sucked. Plenty of great places that have much better food for less.
May 10, 2025 · LandoShould have gone here a long time ago! And we will be back soon! Great food! Great service! Very busy on this particular night, yet didn't have to wait long and our food came out quickly! The management here knows how to run a busy restaurant. Quality here is quite noticeable. I highly recommend this place!
May 04, 2025 · Marcus HydePaid $17.50 -total length of Naturo Maki roll 3 1/2 inches. Personally, for that much money I expect a roll over twice that size and not stuffed with imitation crab meat. It did not taste good. I bought two other sweetheart Rolls at $17.25 each. It was also almost 3 1/2 inches long. Unfortunately, I could smell the fish so I couldn’t eat it. Total bill almost $50. And when you think about it $50 for appetizer size rolls is pretty disgusting. I left this restaurant feeling ripped off. I will never come back. I just want to put out there the facts so that you can make up your own decisions when choosing a decent sushi place.
Apr 20, 2025 · StinaluluHorrible service all around. I asked for shrimp tempura and was asked if I wanted the appetizer or the meal. When asked a question of the sort automatically one is to assume that the only difference will be the portion, NOT the meal itself. I payed 8 dollars for a crappy appetizer that had fried broccoli fried shrimp and a random fried onion ring. Along with fried zucchini. Ridiculous of how the woman who answered the phone and works at the front was disrespectful and did not want to talk through my complaint. My frustration being at the inconvenience not the staff then prepped her to be rude in response. I then called the manager and was told that in order to get my correct order I needed to pay an additional 6 dollars for the inconvenience they caused. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable also unprofessional. And the restaurant smelled disgusting.
