Kabuki Japanese Restaurant Reviews
Great food, good service, reasonable pricing. The food was fresh and had a nice presentation. One leaf in particular in the bowl was unlike anything I've ever had. Apparently, it was a Shisho leaf.
Apr 09, 2025 · Elizabeth DickensI had a mixed experience at Kabuki Japanese Restaurant. While the atmosphere was trendy and inviting, the quality of the food and drinks was inconsistent. The margarita was disappointing, tasting like a pre-made mix, but the $2 happy hour beer was a highlight. The soy ramen fell short, with unappealing noodles and a lack of flavor, but the sesame chicken was a standout—it was perfectly crispy with excellent flavor. The gyoza had a great crunch but could have used more seasoning. Unfortunately, several dishes and utensils appeared soiled, suggesting some issues with the dishwashing process. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant had its strong points, and I’d consider returning, though I’d be more selective about what I order.
Jan 21, 2025 · The HousekeeperKabuki Sushi is an absolute gem! We came during their Happy hour on a Saturday. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Hannah gave the best service. The sushi is out of this world--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend Kabuki Sushi for anyone looking to enjoy an exceptional dining experience. Definitely a 5-star spot!
Feb 04, 2025 · Joe NguyenWant to introduce someone to sushi for the very first time? Kabuki is your place. They have all the (very good) basics that so many fancier sushi places do not. Tempura California roll, great Philadelphia roll, California crunch roll… you name it! Always fresh, always tasty. They also have a few rice-less rolls that I LOVE and a few specialty rolls (lava roll is my personal fave) that are just so tasty.I will say that the Pasadena location is a bit tight in seating space, so keep your children inside the booth, but otherwise the energy is great and the staff are very sweet.
May 20, 2025 · Margarita KhachatryanThis place is clean, attractive and has a very attentive staff! Delicious fresh food! Happy hour is a bit crowded but the staff still is able to accommodate everyone sufficiently! Love the Happy Hour specials!
