KAIZEN REVOLVING SUSHI Introduce
Hey there, Las Vegas locals! Are you looking for a sushi experience that's not only delicious but also incredibly fun and engaging? Then you absolutely need to check out Kaizen Revolving Sushi. This unique spot, located right here in our vibrant city, offers a "Kaiten" (conveyor belt) style dining experience that adds an exciting twist to enjoying your favorite Japanese dishes. It's a fantastic place to visit whether you're a seasoned sushi connoisseur or looking for a new and entertaining way to share a meal with family and friends.
Kaizen Revolving Sushi is designed with both quality and enjoyment in mind. While some individual experiences may vary – one reviewer noted that certain appetizers and nigiri weren't to their taste – the overall consensus, particularly for their rolls, is overwhelmingly positive. Customers rave about the "amazing" presentation, even for to-go orders, with sauces thoughtfully packaged separately to maintain the rolls' integrity. The "delivery train on the tracks" is a charming feature that adds to the "cute and fun" ambiance, especially when the revolving belt is in full swing. For Las Vegas locals, Kaizen offers a reasonable price point, often highlighted as good "value for price" when factoring in online discounts. It's a spot that truly provides a fresh take on sushi dining, inviting you to discover new flavors in an interactive setting.
Kaizen Revolving Sushi is conveniently located at 7450 W Lake Mead Blvd #2, Las Vegas, NV 89128, USA. This prime location places it within the Summerlin Gateway Plaza, a well-known area in the western part of Las Vegas. Its position on West Lake Mead Boulevard, a major artery, ensures easy access for residents in nearby communities such as Summerlin, Desert Shores, and parts of Centennial Hills.
The restaurant's presence within a plaza typically guarantees ample parking availability, making it a stress-free destination for diners. For locals, this ease of accessibility is a significant advantage, allowing for spontaneous visits or planned gatherings without the worry of navigating complex routes or searching for limited parking spots. Its pleasant setting, with potential views of the distant Red Rock Canyon from certain booths, adds to the appeal of this conveniently located sushi spot.
Kaizen Revolving Sushi specializes in a "Kaiten" (conveyor belt) dining style, offering a diverse range of Japanese dishes beyond just sushi, all designed for a dynamic and interactive experience.
Revolving Sushi Experience (Kaitenzushi): Plates of sushi and other Japanese dishes are placed on a revolving conveyor belt that winds through the restaurant, passing every table and seat. Diners can simply pick whatever catches their eye as it passes by. This system makes the dining experience quick, fun, and allows for trying a variety of smaller portions.
Plate-Based Pricing: Unlike an all-you-can-eat buffet, Kaizen's pricing is determined by the color of the plates you select from the conveyor belt, allowing you to control your spending. The restaurant utilizes an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) freshness system to track plates and ensure food quality.
Order from Menu: In addition to the revolving belt, customers can also order specific items directly from a paper menu or a tablet (if available), which may then be delivered via the conveyor belt or a "delivery train" that runs on tracks, adding a "cute and fun" element to the service.
Extensive Sushi & Sashimi Menu: A wide variety of traditional and fusion sushi rolls are available, including popular options like Kiss of Fire, Double Yellowtail, Shrimp Killer, Rainbow Roll, Aviators Roll, Crazy Girl Roll, Ninja Roll, and many more unique creations. They also offer a selection of nigiri and sashimi (e.g., Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, Hirame, Albacore).
Appetizers: A diverse range of hot and cold appetizers, often described as "quite large and good for sharing." Options include Agedashi Tofu, Baked Mussels, Gyoza, Shrimp Tempura, Chicken Karaage, Edamame (including Spicy Garlic), Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapenos, Seared Albacore with Crispy Onion, and more.
Noodle Dishes: Various ramen options (e.g., Tonkotsu, Miso, Lobster Ramen) and Udon dishes (e.g., Tempura Udon, Nabeyaki Udon), along with Yaki Soba/Udon (stir-fried noodles).
Entrees & Bento Boxes: A selection of larger entrees such as Chicken Teriyaki, Beef Teriyaki, Salmon Butter Yaki, Chicken Katsu, BBQ Short Ribs, and Fresh Water Eel (Unagi) Chirashi. Bento Boxes are also available, often including a mix of proteins, tempura, gyoza, rice, and salad.
Side Dishes & Desserts: Standard Japanese side dishes like miso soup and various salads, plus desserts like Mochi Ice Cream.
Takeout and Delivery: For ultimate convenience, Kaizen Revolving Sushi offers online ordering for pickup and delivery through popular platforms like Grubhub, Uber Eats, and Postmates. Their packaging for to-go orders is praised for its quality and thoughtful separation of sauces.
Catering: They offer catering platters, including Sushi & Roll Platters, Vegetarian Platters, and Cooked Rolls Platters, suitable for events and gatherings.
Kaizen Revolving Sushi stands out for several key features that contribute to its unique appeal and popularity among Las Vegas locals:
Revolving Conveyor Belt System: This is the signature feature, offering a fun, interactive, and quick way to dine. The ability to grab plates as they pass by adds an element of excitement and spontaneity to the meal, complemented by a "delivery train" for ordered items.
"Cute and Fun" Ambiance: The restaurant provides a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, described as having a "very chill vibe" and being pleasant for a "serene dining experience" (for those who seek it). The revolving belt and delivery train add to the entertainment value.
"Amazing" Presentation for To-Go Orders: A notable highlight is their meticulous packaging for takeout, with "all the sauces in small containers so the rice doesn't soak it all up and fall apart." This attention to detail ensures the quality of the food even when enjoyed at home.
Good Value for Price: Customers often note the "reasonable price" for the quality and quantity of food, especially considering the unique dining experience and potential online discounts.
Wide Variety of Rolls: While some raw fish items received mixed reviews, the "Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5" for their rolls (Kiss of Fire, Double Yellowtail, Shrimp Killer 2, Rainbow Roll) indicates a strong focus and expertise in this area.
Friendly Service: Even for takeout orders, staff are noted as "friendly and immediately welcomed us when we walked through the door," creating a positive interaction for all patrons.
Freshness System: The restaurant employs an RFID system to track the freshness of sushi plates on the conveyor, automatically removing plates that exceed a set time limit, aiming to ensure food quality.
Kaizen Revolving Sushi focuses on providing value through its unique dining format and some common discounts:
Online Ordering Discounts: Reviewers mention that ordering online can provide discounts, effectively "offsetting tax" and making the meal even more "reasonable." This is a significant incentive for takeout orders.
Plate Color Pricing: While not a "promotion" in the traditional sense, the color-coded plate system allows diners to manage their budget by choosing plates from different price tiers (e.g., Orange $2.45, Red $2.95, Brown $3.45, Blue $3.95, Black $4.95).
Chalkboard Specials (Potential): Other similar revolving sushi restaurants sometimes offer "chalkboard specials" with daily discounted items. It is worth inquiring at the restaurant for any such daily deals.
Lunch Specials (Implicit): While not explicitly detailed as "specials" in the provided reviews, the inherent "value for price" of their rolls and the general pricing structure for a light meal suggests that lunch is often a great time to visit for a cost-effective experience.
Catering Packages: For larger gatherings, their catering menu offers various platters, which can provide a cost-effective solution for feeding a group compared to ordering individual items.

KAIZEN REVOLVING SUSHI Reviews
I arrived at Kaizen on a Friday a bit before noon and got a nice booth with a view of red rock canyon in the distance. It was a serene dining experience but the food was not the quality where I would return. The appetizers were quite large and good for sharing. The hirame had some good slices and the rest were meh. The agedashi was warm and comforting but top flavorful. The baked mussels were okay.I was sad to taste the ikura and spicy scallops. The ikura felt old and the scallops were the worst I've ever had compared to any preparation or any cuisine where I've had scallops.I didn't get any rolls and maybe those are better here.

Dec 09, 2024 · sbbcampervanFood was decent and reasonably priced. We went for lunch and I got the lunch special spicy tuna rolls and another roll as well. We sat at a booth and the food comes out on a cute little train. Food all came out quickly and everything tasted good. Would definitely recommend!
May 01, 2025 · Katherine HaywoodI’ve been to over a dozen sushi places in Las Vegas over the years, and Kaizen is by far my favorite... so much that I actually ate here 5 times this past week. The quality of their cuts, flavor variety, and presentation is absolutely amazing! If you order from the belt menu, the portions are half-sized and very affordable. A little remote controlled trolly-truck delivers your order directly to your table. You can tell their staff cares a lot about customer service. The entire customer experience is phenomenal. 5 stars easy!
