The staff is often praised for being kind and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Takeout: For customers who prefer to enjoy their food at home or on the go, Kanji Noodle Bar offers a robust takeout service. They are noted for their excellent packaging, which separates broth from noodles and toppings, ensuring the quality of the dish is maintained until it's ready to be eaten.

Beverage Selection: They also offer a variety of beverages, including popular choices like boba teas, mocktails, smoothies, and traditional soft drinks, complementing the meal experience.
Kanji Noodle Bar has several notable features and highlights that contribute to its strong reputation among ramen enthusiasts in Delaware:
Authentic Ramen Mastery: The restaurant prides itself on ramen noodles and broths that are "carefully developed by ramen masters." The founder is said to have "studied and absorbed the essence of Japanese ramen" to create unique and rich dishes. This dedication translates into a highly praised ramen experience for many.
Rich and Flavorful Broths: A consistent highlight from positive reviews is the depth and flavor of their ramen broths. Options like the Tonkotsu (creamy pork bone broth) and Miso (turkey and chicken mix soup base with miso paste) are frequently mentioned as delicious and satisfying. The Kanji Mystery is noted as a "spicy-lovers paradise" with a blend of fried pork skin, kimchi, clam meat, and minced pork.

Exceptional Service: Many customers praise the staff, particularly the waitresses, for being "incredibly kind and attentive." This high level of customer service contributes significantly to a positive dining experience.
Thoughtful Takeout Packaging: For takeout orders, Kanji Noodle Bar is noted for its "amazing" containers that separate the soup from the noodles and toppings. This prevents the noodles from getting soggy and ensures the components stay fresh until ready to be combined and enjoyed.
Clean and Well-Decorated Environment: Positive reviews highlight the cleanliness of both the kitchen and dining area, adding to the overall pleasantness of the experience. The atmosphere is described as "very open and bright," providing a comfortable space.
Beyond Ramen: While ramen is the star, the menu extends to popular Japanese appetizers like Gyoza (pork and vegetable options), Karaage Chicken, Edamame, and more substantial dishes like various Yakisoba (stir-fry noodles) and Donburi (rice bowls), including Chashu and Gyu (Korean style marinated beef). They also offer several types of popular Asian beverages, including various boba teas.
Vegetarian/Vegan Options: For those with dietary preferences, the "Vegetable Paradise" ramen and the option to "make it vegan" for the Shoyu ramen (by substituting pork and changing gyoza to vegetable) are significant highlights, ensuring inclusivity on their menu.
While some past isolated experiences have mentioned issues like foreign objects in food or cleanliness concerns (which, importantly, contrast sharply with the majority of positive feedback on cleanliness), the overwhelming sentiment points to Kanji Noodle Bar as a place with consistently good food and service, leading to high hopes and often met expectations for many customers.
While specific, publicly advertised promotions can vary and change, Kanji Noodle Bar, like many popular restaurants, may offer various deals to enhance the dining experience and attract new customers. Based on available information, some types of offers that might be encountered include:
Combo Deals: Their menu lists several "Combo" options, such as the "Tokyo," "Mukbang," "Hokkaido," "Naruto," and "Osaka" combos. These typically pair a ramen bowl with an appetizer and a drink at a set price, offering good value. For example, the "Mukbang" combo includes Tonkotsu Ramen, Karaage Chicken, and a homemade drink.
Featured Items: Online menus often highlight "featured items" or "most liked" dishes, which might sometimes correspond with temporary specials or popular choices that are given a promotional spotlight.
Online Ordering Perks: While not explicitly stated as a promotion, some restaurants offer free delivery or other incentives for orders placed through their own website or specific third-party apps, potentially without additional fees (as sometimes seen with other businesses). It's worth checking their online ordering platforms.

Kanji Noodle Bar Reviews
We found a piece of plastic in the karaage chicken after bringing home our leftovers from the restaurant. This is completely unacceptable. Our whole family, including our children, had already eaten it. The drinking water also looked dirty, possibly from tap water. We couldn’t drink it after seeing how it looked. On top of that, the place was full of bugs and fruit flies. I had high hopes for this restaurant because of all the great reviews and ratings on Google Maps, but this experience was deeply disappointing. Please check your food and drinks carefully before consuming. We won’t be coming back.
May 27 · Chanida FazzioI initially visited this establishment for takeout and was consistently impressed by the quality of the food and service. Today, I had the opportunity to dine in and had an exceptional experience. The waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, and the food was outstanding, as always. I highly recommend dining here.
May 03 · TiffaniI have been to this place a couple times and my favorite dish is the karaage chicken, the portion is huge. As far as ramen, I have tried tonkotus ramen and kanji mastery, both are okay and I much prefer wavy noddle compared to the straight.I have also tried the takoyaki and bao, but for the similar price the karaage chicken is way better.Service was a bit slow sometime.
March 30 · Vicky C.We got the takoyaki, shrimp tempura ramen, and the supreme tonkotsu ramen. Everything was delicious, portion sizes were generous, and the service was incredibly friendly. We couldn't ask for more. Unfortunately, we were just passing through, otherwise I'd eat here every week
April 22 · Blake ShepherdWas feeling a bit sick and needed something hot and comfy. #4 shio with chicken I think was the proper choice. It was delicious with a balance of protein and carbs. Definitely recommend.
