This was the first time my son and I have ate at Kansai Japanese Steskhouse. We came on a Sunday evening and it was pretty crowded, but we still got a table quickly. You have a choice to sit at a regular table or on the Hibachi side where they prepare the food in front of you. The food was fabulous, and I do mean everything was! 😋 Our waitress was amazing! There were a lot of families in there that night with children, but the atmosphere was still good. I live in Louisville, Kentucky and it did not take us long at all to get there. I ordered one dinner and had enough food for dinner and lunch the next day. The dressing that they put on the salads is incredible! We also put some of that dressing in our rice and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back! ❤️

The hibachi lunch service was phenomenally entertaining! Both the server and our chef were charismatic and knowledgeable, which greatly added to the experience.We had both of the lunch steaks to compare them, and the filet mignon (which the server said all the employees favor) was our favorite. The coconut shrimp were also perfect, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and a good size.

It was a great atmosphere and the service was great, however the portions of food were a bit off. We got a lot of rice, like almost too much. But I ordered the Teriyaki chicken. While I enjoyed it, there was not a lot of chicken and it was a bit too salty. Not too much that I wasn't able to finish, but could have been better. Overall though I love the place!

The sushi rolls are nicely put together and packed with flavor, while the ramen has a rich, comforting broth that’s perfect for any day. The portions are generous but manageable, making it easy to try a few dishes or share with friends.Overall, Kansai hits the mark for a great Japanese dining experience. It’s the kind of place where you feel welcome whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor. With excellent food, friendly service, and a relaxed vibe, Kansai is definitely worth visiting, and you’ll probably be planning your next trip before you even finish your meal.

I've had really great experiences here with a few bad ones mixed in. Overall, I'd definitely suggest this place. The food is really good and watching them cook it on the hibachi grill is so fun!
