KARÉ - Japanese Curry Reviews
Hidden treasure! We stopped by Shanghai Plaza and wanted to try something new. Saw KARE and wanted to try it. Their curry katsu and fried oyster was delicious. We tried the pork and chicken. Both were tender and juicy. We will need to go back and try other dishes.
Apr 25, 2025 · Charles TooWent with my wife and kid, the seating area was cozy and inviting, nice ambient music that wasn't too loud. Menu was only small but everything looked appetizing. I got the stew beef curry, wife and kid got Bento boxes and we order the takoyaki. Everything came quickly and was delicious. Serving sizes were very generous and had leftovers to take home.
Mar 31, 2025 · Matt YoungCame here while traveling in Las Vegas last week and was so impressed! First time trying Katsu in general and it was a great first impression. Curry was rich in flavor , juicy chicken that went well with the rice/egg and amazing price for the lunch special. Good service too and I honestly love the cozy vibes in a small place. I’m still thinking of this meal now that I’m back home a week later 😅Highly recommend and would love to revisit when I’m traveling again.
Feb 03, 2025 · ValerieWe came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprising empty considering that the parking lot was packed. But maybe the place was new so we decided to give the place a try. Ordered the takoyaki, two chicken katsu plates, omurice, and curry udon. The food was not that good, especially the curry didn’t taste like curry and just didn’t have much of a flavor to it. The omurice was disappointing too because it was just a regular omelet… chicken katsu was really dry as well. I’ve had better takoyaki. the batter in this one was bland and no octopus in the filling. If you’re looking for some good Japanese curry, there are definitely way better choices in Vegas and around this area. Also side note, because it was so slow and quiet, we overheard the waiters standing by the kitchen basically stereotyping and badmouthing other ethnicities/races…
May 02, 2025 · EJTheir torikatsu curry, tonkatsu curry, unagidon and takoyaki were delicious just as you would in Japan. Not sure why theyre not busy, hopefully this review will encourage fellow diners to try their offerings.
