Kase Sake & Sushi isn’t your typical all-you-can-eat establishment. Instead, it focuses on delivering a superb culinary journey where the chef's expertise and the quality of the ingredients take center stage. If you're looking for an unforgettable sushi experience that emphasizes precision, flavor, and fresh fish, this spot is definitely one to put on your radar.
Kase Sake & Sushi is conveniently located at 5697 S Jones Blvd #220, Las Vegas, NV 89118, USA. This makes it an easily accessible destination for many Las Vegas residents, situated off the bustling Strip in a more local-friendly area. S. Jones Boulevard is a well-traveled thoroughfare, ensuring a smooth drive to the restaurant from various parts of the valley.
Being located in a plaza, there's usually ample parking available, which is always a bonus in Las Vegas. Its off-Strip location also means you can enjoy a high-quality dining experience without the typical tourist crowds and prices, making it a perfect spot for us locals seeking a more relaxed yet refined meal. Whether you're coming from the southwest, Summerlin, or other parts of the city, reaching Kase Sake & Sushi is straightforward, promising a hassle-free start to your dining experience.
Kase Sake & Sushi offers a focused yet comprehensive set of services, emphasizing quality over quantity and providing a unique dining proposition for its patrons:
- Dine-In Experience: The primary way to enjoy Kase Sake & Sushi is through their in-person dining. The restaurant provides a casual yet intimate setting, perfect for savoring each course of their expertly prepared dishes.
- Omakase / Tasting Menus: Their standout offering is the omakase experience, which translates to "I leave it up to you." This means you entrust the chef to select and prepare a multi-course meal using the freshest and highest quality seasonal ingredients. They offer several tiers of omakase, making it accessible for a range of preferences and budgets. This is a personalized culinary journey, not a typical à la carte experience.
- A La Carte Options: While the omakase is highly recommended, they do offer an à la carte menu for those who prefer to select individual items, including various sashimi, nigiri, and cut rolls, as well as appetizers and salads.
- Takeout and Delivery (Limited): Kase Sake & Sushi does offer takeout. While they are listed on delivery platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash, their delivery service status can vary, and it's always best to check current availability directly through the apps or by calling the restaurant. Their focus remains on the dine-in omakase experience, so delivery might not always be active or available.
- Reservations Recommended: Given the curated nature of their dining experience, especially for omakase, making a reservation is highly recommended to secure your spot and ensure the best possible experience.
Kase Sake & Sushi distinguishes itself with several key features that make it a compelling choice for discerning sushi lovers in Las Vegas:
- Exceptional Omakase Experience: This is the heart of Kase Sake & Sushi. They provide a "casual and reasonably priced" omakase, making this often high-end experience approachable for many locals. Customers rave about the "7 course tasting," describing every dish as "savory and fresh with a beautiful presentation."
- Outstanding Fish Quality: Reviewers consistently highlight the "very very good" quality of the fish. This dedication to fresh, premium ingredients is paramount in an omakase setting and is clearly a strength of Kase Sake & Sushi.
- Knowledgeable and Attentive Service: Patrons praise the staff, noting that the waiters are "extremely knowledgeable and explained each dish into detail." This enhances the omakase experience, as the insights into each ingredient and preparation add to the appreciation of the meal.
- Beautiful Presentation: The artistry of Japanese cuisine is evident here, with dishes consistently described as having a "beautiful presentation." This attention to detail elevates the dining experience from simply eating to truly appreciating culinary art.
- Great Value for Omakase: A significant highlight is the pricing for the quality offered. Customers express that "You can’t beat the pricing and the quality for the omakase they offer," especially for an off-Strip experience. Their Oomori (7-course) is around $56, Nami (7-course nigiri/sashimi based) is $48, and Hanban (4-course) is $32, with an even more premium Chef Toyonishi Premium Tasting at $120.
- Focus on Quality, Not AYCE: It’s important to note that this is not an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. This focus allows them to maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail for each dish served. If you're "looking for quality fish, attention to detail on dishes and a superb experience," this is the place.
- Diverse Omakase Options: Beyond the 7-course, they offer other omakase tiers, including a 4-course Hanban and a vegan Yasai option, ensuring various preferences and dietary needs are accommodated within the omakase framework.
- Specialty Nigiri and Rolls: Their menu features unique and premium à la carte options like A5 Wagyu nigiri (with or without truffle), Uni (sea urchin) options, Truffle Tuna, and various specialty rolls like Lobster and Eel Coconut, showcasing creativity and luxurious ingredients.
Kase Sake & Sushi offers specific promotions that enhance their value, particularly for those looking to enjoy their unique dining experience:
- Happy Hour: They offer a happy hour from Wednesday to Friday, between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, where you can get "1/2 off Beer and Wine." This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy their beverages at a reduced price alongside your meal.
- Sunday Sake Bottle Special: On Sundays, if you opt for one of their tasting menus, they offer "1/2 price bottles of sake." This is a superb deal for sake enthusiasts, given their great selection.
- Accessible Omakase Pricing: While not a "promotion" in the traditional sense, their omakase pricing itself is a significant value proposition. With courses starting around $32 (Hanban), $48 (Nami), and $56 (Oomori), it makes the typically expensive omakase experience much more accessible to a wider local audience.
It is always recommended to check their official website or call them directly for the most current information on promotions and special offers, as these can be subject to change.

This restaurant is perfectly suited for locals for several compelling reasons.
Firstly, its focus on omakase offers a level of culinary artistry and freshness that is truly exceptional for its price point. The knowledgeable staff further enhances the local appeal. Having a waiter explain each dish in detail creates a more engaging and educational dining experience, fostering a deeper appreciation for Japanese cuisine – something true food lovers in our city cherish. This level of service transforms a meal into an experience.
Finally, its off-Strip location on S. Jones Boulevard is a huge advantage. It provides a convenient and less crowded alternative to tourist-heavy areas, offering ample parking and a relaxed atmosphere that’s more in tune with local life. This allows us to enjoy a superb meal without the typical hassles associated with dining in popular tourist zones.
In essence, Kase Sake & Sushi provides an unparalleled opportunity for Las Vegas locals to indulge in a top-tier omakase experience that prioritizes quality, value, and a truly authentic taste of Japan, all within a comfortable and accessible setting. Kase Sake & Sushi Reviews
Wonderful restaurant to have a first Omakase experience since this place is very casual and reasonably priced. The quality of the fish is very very good as well. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and explained each dish into detail. We do prefer if the dishes would not come as fast since when one dish was finished, the next one would show up immediately. We will definitely come back here.
Jan 16, 2025 · lellieuI’d heard so much great stuff about the sushi here so had to check it out for myself and it was truly amazing! We did the 7 course tasting and every dish we tasted was so savory and fresh with a beautiful presentation!!! You can’t beat the pricing and the quality for the omakase they offer. If you’re looking for AYCE this is not the place. But if you’re looking for quality fish, attention to detail on dishes and a superb experience this is definitely your place and I recommend everyone try it for a true omakase experience off the strip at reasonable prices!! I can’t wait to go back! I don’t think I’d ever had sushi that good here!
Jan 23, 2025 · Lorilee GHad the most amazing 7 course meal. Every bit of it was 5 stars. Not sure what most of the fish was, even though the waiter described it, but I loved it all. No need for soy sauce or ginger to dip your sushi into here! Great prices as well.
Mar 26, 2025 · Jordan AlexanderIf you never had an Omakase experience then I’d say this is a good experience for you to start at since the process point isn’t too high and is a great introduction. I’ve eaten here at least twice but I’ll be basing this review off my most recent experience. We got the Oomori (7 course tasting). The food was decent but ironically the hand roll seemed like the best part of the whole thing so I’d suggest that and ordering a la carte if you don’t choose Omakase. But then again each item is priced way more than the Omakase so it seems right to come here mainly for the Omakase. This whole experience for us took 2 hours but that’s because they started to sync our omakase with another group. If you come here when it’s less busy then your experience will definitely be faster and more enjoyable. Although normal omakase can take this long, this experience would be best if it was faster. We noticed that there was a premium tasting as well but not until after we ordered because it doesn’t have it itemized underneath. Would definitely consider this next time especially when it’s slower.
Oct 23, 2024 · Brian InesThe 9 course meal is worth every penny! Very unique and high quality dishes with sushi that was on par with sushi I have had in Japan.
