Katami Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Japanese restaurant that opened about a year ago in houston and I genuinely can’t express how incredible the experience was. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable , the staff was attentive, warm, and truly made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was serene and beautifully curated, creating the perfect setting for the meal. Now, onto the food: absolutely outstanding. Every dish was crafted with such care and precision, and the flavors were unforgettable. The combination — gourmet quality, perfectly balanced, and unlike anything I’ve tasted before. This is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates top-quality Japanese cuisine and flawless service.
April 19 · Reem Wahoud#JoeFoodTour super grateful for this restaurant! It has been a while. I’ve had a good experience with a Japanese sushi restaurant. We started out with a cocktail. She’s so sad and an old Manhattan. Such a great flavor profile. We then had several dishes at the recommendation of Travis. Travis was super helpful and had a great attitude. It was very excited about us to try new dishes. Definitely get the shaved ice dessert. Looks like a lot, but it is it because it’s nice. And yes, the ice is from Japan.
May 23 · Joseph Ray DiosanaThe consistency of this restaurant deserves an acknowledgment. During each visit I've had the best service and perfect food. This review is purely for individuals with food allergies. I am allergic to fish, mushrooms, nuts, and coconut. Katami has the best variety of non fish dishes I've had at a Sushi restaurant to date. The second is Kata Robata, which is not a coincidence. The Iberico Pork Shumai, Miso Sake Lobster, Robata Baby Back Ribs (literally falls off the bone), Decadent Pork Dumpling, & Ishiyaki Yakiniku 2oz Waygu, and Strawberry Shortcake are my favorites. The food is a high end experience you see in travel videos of New York and Japan. I appreciate being able to share this beautiful experience even with food allergies. Definitely try the Shiso Side & Okinawa Swizzle cocktails. I'm still making my way through the menu, and my taste buds are in loveeee.
April 19 · Brea RobinsonKatami is effortlessly elegant—like that quiet girl at the party who ends up being the best dressed and the most interesting. Every dish was thoughtful, clean, and beautifully executed. The sushi? Fresh. The flavors? Sophisticated without trying too hard.Been here far too many times to have not left a raving review. 🌟
May 14 · Kalorin SuetrongOne word: PERFECTION!I loved the vibe and energy of this sushi restaurant. The staff is welcoming, the establishment is beautiful with a simplistic-elegant look, and the food... out of this world.Cozy, intimate and not crowded, perfect for a date o business meeting.Everything, literally everything in the menu is incredibly delectable.
