- Lunch Specials: Some upscale restaurants offer more competitively priced lunch menus or bento box options during midday hours. It is advisable to check their current lunch offerings directly.
- Happy Hour: While not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, some Katsuya locations or similar high-end establishments might feature a happy hour with discounted drinks and select appetizers, usually at the bar area, during off-peak times.
- Prix Fixe Menus for Special Events: For holidays (like Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve) or special culinary events, Katsuya might offer specially curated prix fixe menus.
- Private Event Packages: For larger groups or private celebrations, inquiry about special packages or customized menus for events might be beneficial.
- Seasonal Offerings: The menu often highlights seasonal ingredients, leading to limited-time dishes that serve as their own unique "special offer" in terms of fresh, in-season flavors.

Katsuya Brentwood Reviews
I have not been to Katsuya since before Covid and went there for a birthday dinner and I was very surprised that the price was pretty reasonable (maybe since prices are crazy everywhere) and quality of the seafood was on par with some of the Little Tokyo, Ktown, and Westwood places I went to growing up.First of all, the scallop carpacio and the ebi (sweet shrimp, should look clear) was amazing and melted in my mouth. The lemon salmon was also okay. Quality of salmon was great but the spiciness overpowered the citrus. The last roll we got that was all the fish layered together with cucumber was surprisingly great. The texture worked and enjoyed it! For the entree, we got the short ribs which was amazing (was like Korean galbi jjim but really really reduced sauce) and the miso cod was amazing. The quality of the cod was so fresh and loved the picked asparagus. Finally, the Tokyo Sour cocktail was simply elegant.Loved the service. We had a fabulous and attentive server who was friendly, knew the menu and really listened when we wanted recommendations and very sweet and efficient. The atmosphere is better in the first room. The second room just had guady mirrors everywhere and tables and chairs that have seen better days.
April 30 · Hells BellsCelebrated my fiancé’s birthday here. Lody was our server and he was so wonderful and attentive despite how busy it was (surprising for a Monday evening!) Love this location and will definitely be back. What we ordered:Wagyu IshiyakiKatsuya RollSalmon LemonCorn CrunchHotateSakeMiso Glazed codMiso glazed eggplant skewerAsparagus skewerWould definitely get the Katsuya Roll, miso-glazed eggplant skewers, and miso-glazed cod again. We thought the Wagyu Ishiyaki was good but volume-wise not a lot with only 6 thin slices of wagyu. Fish quality was good and would definitely order more sashimi next time.

April 14 · KB “MalibuMafia” RGI used to go always to KATSUYA at the Americana and I loved it but after it was closed this is my first time going to this restaurant and I was not disappointed, the food was delicious and the service was great. I really enjoyed dining here.
November 18 · Nasser AkeelLet me start by saying that the service here was very satisfying; our server was the sweetest. The food left us wanting for more - in more ways than one. The portions were very small for the price, and the taste of some of the dishes was just ok.I find it a bit unfair to order a crab dish of 2 small rolls that's worth around $25 and being served surimi. To sum up, it wasn't a bad experience, just too expensive, in my opinion, for what it offers.
