Kayo's Ramen Bar Reviews
I'll be honest this place was not for me. Being a vegetarian I was not a huge fan of their vegetarian options. However, At least they had one. Also, everyone else (that eats meat) loves the food. So I will base my rating on their impression as well. It seems like they have good food well made that's authentic. The vegetarian option was very spicy and that made it difficult for me so if you love spice in your vegetarian diet you might love it.
Apr 02, 2025 · Abbie LuNice ramen restaurant on East Portland. I really appreciate their ramen and the awesome cheesecake. The staff is really nice and cool. Easy to park your car for free in the street close to the restaurant. Price are not so high. Good restaurant, I clearly recommand.
May 17, 2025 · Pierre LecompteGreat ramen spot, quick turnaround to get the food out. They also have Japanese tacos which is an interesting fusion. We got the tan tan ramen and the dipping noodles both of which were delicious. Highly recommend!
Dec 07, 2024 · Rohin SinghCame here just to try their vegan ramens since last time I tried their non-veg ones, which were also really good.My partner and I ordered their mala and curry vegan ramen and mole tofu tacos. The mole tacos were a nice fusion snack, and packed some good flavor. But that mala ramen was special and had the kind of flavor that makes you want to eat more. I wasn't hungry and I ended up almost finishing the entire bowl! The broth flavor had a touch of that Sichuan peppercorn flavor and coated the noodles perfectly. And love the quantity and flavor of the marinated tofu they add to substitute for the Cha Shu.The curry ramen was also pretty good though mala was a lot more of my styleI will definitely be back for another bowl
Oct 05, 2024 · Deedee ChiangREALLY RAD RAMEN & HOUSEMADE GRUBVegans, gluten-free folks, and carnivores can all dine here in harmony. Their vegan broths are FIRE and I love that you can customize your bowl for a fair price. You can opt for rice noodles or zucchini noodles instead of traditional ones.My tan tan spicy ramen wasn’t cheap at $19, but it was worth every penny. I added corn, bamboo shoots, and Chashu pork to complete my bowl. Soooo yummy! The Chashu pork was tender and among the best I’ve had in Portland.I had their housemade potstickers for takeaway one day with coworkers and thought they were delicious. Maybe the best vegan potstickers I’ve ever had. I look forward to trying them as a dine-in experience.I’m going to work my way through their menu and will update soon.
