We had an amazing experience at Kessaku. Funny enough, one of my favorite restaurants is The Monarch, which is actually located right below Kessaku, but it never occurred to me to try dining here before. My date discovered that Kessaku offers sushi, and knowing it was right above The Monarch made the idea of going even more exciting — like finding a hidden gem right where you'd least expect it.The ambiance was beautiful, and our waitress was an absolute doll — super friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the menu, which made the whole experience even better. Now, the sushi... wow. It was absolutely incredible. I've had some amazing sushi on the West Coast, so I have pretty high standards, and I have to say — Kessaku definitely delivered. Each roll was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. We also tried the ramen, which was interesting — not bad, but the noodles were a bit on the mushy side for my taste, so I probably wouldn’t order that again 😅. Still, everything else more than made up for it.All in all, this was such a great dining experience. It’s one of those places that feels upscale without being stuffy, and I’ll definitely be coming back — especially for the sushi! - Ravyn Williams

These two addresses essentially point to its location atop The National, a prominent skyscraper in Downtown Dallas. Its elevated position is a defining feature, offering some of the most spectacular views of the city.

Accessing Kessaku is part of the experience. Guests typically take the elevators to the 49th floor, where The Monarch restaurant is located, and then navigate to a discreet entrance (often marked with Japanese script) or a hallway that leads upstairs to Kessaku on the 50th floor. This subtle approach adds to the "hidden gem" or "speakeasy" feel, making the discovery part of the adventure.

For Texans, the Downtown Dallas location ensures good accessibility from various parts of the metroplex. While navigating Downtown can sometimes be busy, options for arrival are plentiful. The Thompson Hotel, which occupies part of The National building, offers valet service (typically for a fee, e.g., $10 through Towne Park). Ride-sharing services are also a highly convenient and popular choice for reaching this central location, especially for those planning to indulge in Kessaku's impressive cocktail and sake offerings.
