Came here with some friends on a week night for dinner. We’ve been here a couple of times! No wait even on weekends or weekdays.Food here is good for the price and taking into account you’re in SF. Sushi is cheap and not bad. It’s kid friendly because they have a lot of cooked food options even for sushi. They have “happy hour” tasting samples ranging from $2-4, pretty worth it!Sushi we ordered: unagi roll, spam roll, Cali roll, soft shell crab roll, tuna roll, you get the idea. All decent sushi, with familiar tastes. Nothing earth shattering. Udon’s not bad, I like their tempura, it’s light, batter well seasoned and tasty, not greasy!Overall meal costs $25-30 and I was personally stuffed.
Feb 28, 2025 · Jane LeeGood food, the takoyaki was delicious, only thing is be careful about bugging a server that is not your server. They seem to not like that. My server was busy and I asked another of she could bring the check, she didn't say anything but came back and just toss the bill at us. So not good. But the sushi was great
Apr 07, 2025 · Scorpio110488Walked in here and it happened to be happy hour. Happy hour prices were really affordable, and the food portion sizes were substantial, especially at their price point. In terms of taste, I thought the food was just ok. My favourite item was the fried tofu, which was flavourful and freshly fried!
Jun 25, 2023 · Ellen HuangWe have been regular here for many yrs. After walking in the park so tired and hungry, we come in to get something to eat eat. The service is prompt, the same staff have worked here for years. Consistent food, good portion, it is not fancy but good. It used to serve free miso soup with the meal but every where else seems to increased their prices so KIKI is still a star.
Nov 01, 2024 · Ma HI really love the food there at this price. It may not be the best in flavor, but it rank #1 to me in terms of food per price. It is the default place we go every time we visit California Science Academy. You can even order take out and have lunch in the Academy. Their beef teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, tempura are all quite good. The karaage is so-so, and that is probably the only one I would not recommend.
