Kissaki Sushi Reviews
Loved the Omakase experience at the counter and our sushi chef Ryan! It was exceptional! My personal favorite was the tuna with a hazelnut inside with mushrooms on top. The miso black cod with rice on the side as an appetizer is a close second. They are strict on being punctual, but that’s part of the experience for all the pieces come out timely.
February 04 · Katrina DOMAKASE BY KISSAKIFor those not familiar,Omakase is a Japanese dining experience where you leave the meal selection entirely to the chefThe options range from sushi to cooked dishes. April 19 · NYCBuddhaFood was good. Appetizer was probably the best thing there. What was extremely unacceptable was the process. Ive never eaten an omakase for 3-4 hours. It was absolutely absurd to be at a restaurant for 4 hours it felt like jail.30 minutes late because it was a valentines day Friday night. Sure no problem, understandable. The chef knows hes super behind schedule but he still has to make food for other tables. Why is the management so bad? 9:30Pm reservation but didnt get seated until 10:20. Each PIECE took about 15-20 minutes to make. Didnt leave the restaurant around 1:10AM. My after dinner plans were canceled because of this. Do better chefs…
February 15 · Jason YiuVery clean and sleek interior, with very friendly and knowledgeable service. Every piece was described in great detail! I think some of the more delicate fish could have done with less wasabi for my personal preference, as it drowned out the taste of the fish for me. My favorite was the amberjack and the salmon. Echoing some prior reviewers -- the quality of the fish was there, but not a mind blowing experience. Also wished there was a more creative dessert other than the vanilla ice cream.
November 17 · Tiffany VOur reviews had over 56 million views in the last 12 months. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Kissaki Sushi. wow Best sushi place in NYC. Price Fixe menu is the way to go. Each item was outstanding. We strongly recommend this way to each sushi because you end up trying things you would never order al a carte. The desserts are wonderful and you can order some extra ones like we did. Check out the photos. I wish I could tell you what all of it is, but it was a bit overwhelming. Some folks in our party were big sushi lovers from Japan and they said it was some of the best they had ever had. I know i loved it, but i am no sushi expert. Really good. Check out all of our reviews and look at all the photos below. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We have had over 56 million views in the last 12 months and we thank you for that. We don't get paid; we just love to eat. Be sure to click on "RobH" at the top of this review to see all of them and to follow us if you like good food and FUN. If we do a review, it is because we love it.
