This place is absolutely horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone downriver. The Sushi Bar on Telegraph is a million times better than this shabby little place. Everything in the restaurant was dirty. Everything in the pictures cost us a total of $55. You can get more at any other sushi place and leave feeling full for less. Nothing seemed fresh, everything pretty much seemed fake. Music was terrible as well. Someone kept skipping songs and they didn't even bother using a Spotify playlist. Waiter was terrible, couldn't understand him, nor did he bother coming back to the table or serve our food. (We ordered 2 Hot Spicy Seafood Bibimbab bowls, a california roll, a crunchy roll, and 2 cokes, which came in cans). If I was downriver looking for sushi, I'd avoid this place at all costs!

The best sushi place downriver. Period. I said it.We have been to several sushi restaurants downriver, and Koja Sushi is by far superior to all the others.My wife had read the reviews, and saw that Koja opened a restaurant near us, and wanted to try. We ordered 5 rolls, which ended up being about 1 roll too many for us.All the flavors were awesome. Every roll was expertly created and the presentation was excellent.The serice was also excellent. Very attentive.While we were there, 5 orders from door dash or similar were picked up, and I can see why, their cuisine is incredibly delicious!!

The food was super fresh with nice presentation, and the restaurant was very clean. This is easily becoming our favorite sushi place in the downriver area. We’ve ordered take out but this was our first dine-in experience, and we will definitely be regulars!The service was very attentive and speedy, and even when other patrons were… less than polite, the employee was very sweet and kind. Upon telling her that this was our time into the restaurant, we were even treated to a free dessert which was SO GOOD.I’ve been raving about this place since we left!

This place is a must-try for sushi lovers! Everything was top-notch, from the friendly service to the amazing food. We couldn't get enough of the sushi. It was so fresh and flavorful. And that koja sauce? Seriously delicious! I highly recommend checking this place out.

So we chose this place because of the reviews but we were highly disappointed after :((((I have been to multiple Korean and Japanese restaurants and this will be include to one of the restaurants I would NOT recommend.Teokkboki was disappointing😭 sauce was awful and definitely no gochujang, rice cake is very soft and plumpy so that’s what I appreciate.The Bibimbap was 4/10😬.Server was awkward and looked unsure about what he was doing.
