Kruba Reviews
Food: food was great, only deduction was the chicken appetizer was extremely small for the price paid. The pineapple frid rice was really good but pricy at almost $23. About 5 pieces of juicy shrimp were in the dish as well. Kruba cashew chicken was good.Service: got there as soon as they opened for lunch so seated right away and food was quickly delivered.Atmosphere: nice but a bit dated. Many of the tables are uneven and no longer sit together flush. Ambiance was nice, Thai decor all around and wooden vibe.Final impression: very good for a quick lunch in downtown DC and head back to the office. Might be added to a regular rotation in DC lunch adventures.
Apr 20, 2025 · ToddWent for lunch on Friday as they opened. Service was good, the atmosphere was good, the food was good 👍It's definitely americanized (good for those who like that, less good for those who want authenticity).I enjoyed the Cashew Chicken but wish there was some spice to it. I would have liked a bit more rice, too (personal opinion).I'll be back for sure to try more of the menu!
Apr 04, 2025 · Nicholas DavisSolid Thai food with a good spicy kick (when asked). The sushi didn't look great and it seemed overpriced for what you got. Definitely worth it for the Thai food though!
Apr 06, 2025 · Bailey JaworskiThe food was kind of fusion Thai-Pan-Asian food? The restaurant was spacious and bright. I liked this restaurant as a place to sit down and have a nice chat. The food was kind of so-so. The stir-fried was very Americanised and the portion was pretty small.
Oct 20, 2024 · Roy ChanI did a takeout of drunken noodles and sushi roll. Yuck. The half the noodles were stuck together with no flavor/sauce seeped in so it was just white sticky rice noodle mess with very small amount of vegetable (mainly just onion). I had tofu for protein and another yuck. The spicy California roll was just a regular supermarket quality roll with glob of watery spicy mayo. Previously fried and then just heated - texture was hard and chewy and again no flavor. I guess I should've known when the food came out in exactly 5 minutes after I placed my order that the food was going to be not so good. Don't bother with this overpriced place. There are so many fine restaurants surrounding this one.
